Cix's Band With [hed] P.e.

Hey gang... so the quick blurb is this:

May 19th At Harpo's

[HED] P.E. with specials Guest

(Tenatively) MISCONCEIVED and several other bands.

NOW THE SCHPEIL:

Ok, so last week we, as a band were having -major- problems. I could spell it all out, but that would take up way too much time (I tried to write it out, and at paragraph six I said..."That would take to long... lemme... summup").

Here goes.

Last week we were supposed to play Clems but everyone was in a bad mood and faced with a huge show with Smile Empty Soul the next night we decided not to risk it (By we, I mean -THEY-... the fuck heads.). This means we piss off people at clems, and since I'm the one with the most amount of tact, and the best grasp of good English, I get to try and quell that.

Saturday we are getting to harpos late... we haven't sold all the necessary tickets to play... and James (Bassist) has lost $20 of the money, and can't find an ATM to repay it. GREAAAAT...

Luckily the booking agent was a friend, and he says. "Get me the money, don't worry about the number of tix sold, you guys play 3rd of the 8 openers...

This is great, however the Exies (The second headliners) are still doing sound check when we get in. FFFFFFFUUUUUCCCCKK... they finally get done... 45 minutes -AFTER- scheduled load in...

The booking agent calls us over, and says...

The Exies took too much time with sound check... here's what I'm gonna do for you guys:

o You'll get to choose the National Act you wish to open for

o You don't have to sell -ANY- tickets

o We'll give you free drink tickets for tonight...

The Catch...

o you give up your slot to play tonight...

So we tentatively chose to open for [Hed] P.E.

Only tentatively cause we don't really know who else is coming....

My point is... what a fucked up, crazy twist of fate this band is going through. I beleive we're gonna make it... if I don't kill the rest of the members first...

So... anyone interested in coming out and seeing us? Hed PE is in may, but I've got other dates posted on the Calander. Should be some KILLER shows.

On a side note... 'POWER SOURCE(SP?)' I've been hearing great stuff about you guys... how do I hear it?
