Cemetaries - Question

Anyone know of any cemetaries that don't close the gates at night?

I think there's one in Westland/Livonia on Ann Arbor Trail and Merriman area but I can remember if they close in the evening.

I'm taking my daughter and her friend out tomorrow night.. just for fun and to scare the shit out of them of course.

There's one on Denton road in a wooded area where the road is dirt. All I remember is that it is north of 94 but not sure how far but it's not a long drive. Has no gate. Had a pic of the entrance but can't find it right now.

I went there we climbed the fence because we thought the gate was locked and it has the spiked old fencing and I ripped my new pants. Worst thing was The gate was open.

And no camera available. I'd love to go ghost hunting. And do some night photography. That would be wicked. And welcome to the darkside, whips on the left, chains on the right.

All cemeteries are closed at dusk. Just because there is no gate doesn't mean that cops won't give you shit if they happen to see you. Just like city parks (actually they pretty much are considered parks).

I know the jewish cemetery on grossebeck has a gate, but no guard, and it's very easy to get in if you know what you're doing (HH and BF can certify this).

I also know the one at 14 and Hayes has no gate/guard.

I'm from Clinton Township and there's a realllly creepy OLD OLD cemetary at 14 and Hayes in "Downtown" (laughable) Fraser. There's no gate at all and it's at the top of a hill so it's hard for cops to see you enter. Be careful if you go though, living around here I'll be the first to tell you that Fraser cops are DICKS. They'll pull your ass over for not using a blinker, but if you're a mom with some kids, they probably wouldn't arrest you if you did get caught. They'd just tell you to leave. Be careful for mud, when I was 9 my mom's car got stuck in a massive mud puddle at the top of the hill and we didn't get the car out for hours. I remember crying because it was dark by the time we left lol.

You mean the one I mentioned? lol

There is a SouthEast michigan Ghost Hunters group

http://www.semghs.org/

That isn't the only one. I was just on myspace looking around and I found a whole bunch of them. MAPS, The Deadwatch Society (way to close to the name of the hearse club) and a few others.

I will post where our next excursion will be and when everyone is welcome to come.

So you're saying you wanna join in?

I'd be up for it, But it wouldn't hold as much intrest for me as anyone else I think. Something about having my dad seal me up inside a mausoleum crypt as a joke desensitized me to the whole cemetary experiance. Either that or when the dog I was cremating came back to life... I don't know. So many stories. But just as somthing to do that is cheap and lets me hang out with friends I think it's a great idea.
