sass_in_the_pants
Nope. There's something about crossing i-696 on a bicycle that makes me a little scared. I used to live six miles from work and it was actually only ten minutes longer for me to ride my bike, so I was all about that. Now I work in Southfield, and despite efforts to try to find a safe bike route to work, I still have nothing. Boo-hoo. And since car drivers aren't at all used to LOOKING for someone on a bicycle, they kind of drive like maniancs. They're not being a-holes or anything, they're just not used to seeing cyclists. Destroit
Well since I have no car, and won't have one until the fall apparantly, I've been riding the Smart bus to where ever I have to go. Does that count? Yesterday I missed two busses coming home and ended up walking from 23 and Van Dyke to 15 and Van Dyke, so there we go, I guess that works. I don't even have a job right now so I totally complied with this on a whole new level. Wow I did something good for the environment by not doing anything at all!! Wait....I have been on the computer all day sucking energy...shit. There goes that.
