one of the halloween type movies... hmmm maybe it is actually called halloween? lol not sure. either way i was too little to see it anyways. i don't remember much other than a scarecrow or a guy being in the scarecrow? i think that is what scared me. and something about a babysitter and doing laundry outside and some guy coming and fucking with the machines?? maybe that is a totally different movie but those two things as a kid bothered me.

then there were the sunday thriller type things i watched with my mom.

one with a voodoo doll that lost it's necklace and came to life and bit this girl (karen black i believe) and then she was like crazy and pounding a knife in the floor or at least that is how i remember it. that freaked me out.

twilight zone - talking tina fucked with me when i was kid.

and the one where the vantriliqist dummy talked on it's own.

not that those are movies.

anything where a toy could talk on it's own scared me when i was about 5, 6, 7 years old.

then there is the one where the girl is taking care of her sick/in a wheel chair father. and she had a pet monkey i believe. well come to find out he was faking it. i think she kills him then. she goes to her attic for soemthing and gets locked in there for good. she also finds her dead pet monkey in a trunk up there. i forget what this one is called, but i saw it again when i was in 9th grade and it was soooo STUPID. not scary at all. ;)

Ther ewas a Twilight Zone that freaked me. This lady kept getting phone calls from her dead husband. I think when she would answer there would be brathing on the line. She went to her husbands grave and the phone line was down on his grave....something like that.

When I was little a movie came on tv about killer bees. People were running from the swarm and they were coming in under the door. that creeped me.

I think that is one of the best ones ever... in my previous band "Nightside Eclipse" we sampled the hell out of that episode and actually wrote a song about it.

The first time I saw Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers Was late at night during a blizzard.

About 45 min. after the movie was over we had a blackout.

Picture it I'm a kid looking for a flashlight or candle something and snow plow comes down the street.

scraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaape "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!"

I think "Child's Play" #2 scared me crapless. My sister had a bunch of porcelain dolls and for some reason, they always reminded me of Chucky.

That got worse when my grandpa bought my sister a dancing doll, that when you flipped the switch, he'd wave his arms and kick his legs like he was dancing. Well, one night, my sister's friend Emily was staying over and they decided to put the dancing doll in my bed and hide it under the covers. When i crawled into bed, I felt something hard and when I lifted the covers, I saw the doll there and I yelped.

And that doll had curly hair like Chucky too. ;___;

Vater, you & I may be the only ones who saw C.H.U.D., I just don't remember it as being that scary, but it had some creepy moments for sure.

Brings back memories of a blackout that happened when I was about 8. My older brother thought it would be funny to hurry outside and hit the sidding of the house while all the power was off. It freaked me and my sibs so bad we ran out of the house only half dressed.

oh there was another one that freaked me out too. it was something that got in the water and was making things gigantic or something like that. i can't even remember the movie itself other than the end where it shows cows drinking this tainted water (i think it was the water) then they were milked, and the milk was brough to a school, and all the kids are drinking it and i think that is how it ended. i was little so i dont remember much other than that. but it was scary to me - that part at least. ;)

In Poltergeist II That blue stuff in the kids mouth was his Braces.

The movie that scared the HELL outta me when I was 4 was (yes this is embarassing) E.T. the Extraterestrial. I was sitting in the front row of the movie theater which made ET HUGE!!!!!!!!!!! The part where Drew Berrymore screams and then ET screams had an extra scream. That extra scream was me. I've watched it since then and it doesn't scare me now but then again ET isn't 50ft tall anymore.

I saw C.H.U.D once and it didn't do much for me. I did see The People Under the Stairs. What scared me with this movie is that could really happen to someone.

My favorite series was Ray Bradbury series. One the stayed with me was when this little girl was playing in the woods and she kept hearing a woman's voice. When she tried to get someone to help the woman no one believed her. She finally got someone to help her and it ended up that the woman had been buried alive in the woods by her husband. I don't know why that one stayed with me but it did.

I can watch just about any of the slice and dice ones now but any part that required putting something in the eyes. OWWIE!!!!!!!!! Not going there.

My first scarey movie was Halloween. I watched it in the dark at my aunt's house and I was 8 when I saw that. Didn't give me any nightmares but it did give them to my cousin and Man was it fun to pick on him.

Snow White really terrified me- I had nightmares about the wicked queen for years. I think it was the only Disney movie I ever saw as a young'un... my mom thought they were racist so we never went to any. Oh, and "X, the Man with X-Ray Eyes"- the part where Ray Milland gouges his eyes out at the end totally freaked me out... think I was about 9 or 10 the 1st time we saw it. My older cousin used to chase us around going "pluck 'em out... pluck 'em out..." & I'd just get hysterical.

& dynomiiiite, I think your giant-animals movie is Food of the Gods... truly a classic & one of the last works of the immortal Bert I. Gordon

Yes, and Sweet Holy Jeebus Kids, The Salem's Lot Mini-Series.  Remember the Freaking "Salem's Lot" with David Soul, of Starsky & Hutch fame.  That lil' boy floating at the window, scratching his demonic lil claws on the panes still gives me the willies.  ewwwwwwy  :fear:

"Mark.....Marrrkkkk Open the window mark...." lol I was watching that the other night and started laughin cuz I remembered your post

I think Disney movies were created while using some serious hallucinogenic drugs....

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

That would OBVIOUSLY explain "Phantasia"

i mean like bambi for example. they showed us that in grade school, at school, and i was horrified! i cried. i could not believe what i was watching.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
