We have a new moderator, Rayne. So now if you have problems with DGN , message her.

If you want to say how great DGN is and you enjoy it so much and want to help more, message me. =P

Rayne will be working on getting the DGN Events Calendar set up properly and keeping it up to date and accurate.

hey, i have 3 of my own so what's a few more? plus i know how hard it is to get someone to babysit when you have more than one kid ;) no matter how "good" your kids are, no one wants to watch more than 1 or 2 it seems. :tongue:

That is so true. Usually, on the very rare occasion I can find sitting, it's usually, ship two here, one there and the other one over there .... most of the time it's not worth the hassle.

yep. the only one to really ever watch all of them is my mom and that is VERY rare that she does. otherwise it seems the 2 girls are one place, my son is somewhere else... it kills me too cuz all i EVER hear is "your kids are SO good. they are wonderful" if they are so wonderful, how come no one ever offers to watch them for me!? :confused:

well, my offer is sincere. i think the only problem is you don't know me well, rayne doesn't know me at all and i never met your children.

Three of them are angels (girl - 6, boy - 4, boy - almost 3). One is Autistic (boy, 4), but he's still an angel.

I'm convinced my oldest daughter, however - she's almost 8 - is the opposite. :crybaby:

When I lived in Garden City I had a neighbour who would watch all 4 ... but since I moved last year out here ... I've got no one. My mom will watch all 4 for REALLY important stuff, like court. She'll watch 2 for doctor's appointments (have to be realllllly important ones) ... other than that, my ex takes three of them about half the time right now, but he always insists on his weekends off, which is when my oldest daughter goes on visitation with her dad's family. So I quite literally have no free time without kids. LOL.

i've worked with autistic children (when i worked at a school) and my brother is slightly autistic so in that way i know how difficult that can be. especially for other people to care for the child if they don't know how to *handle* the situations. my kids are angels... they just eat a lot. (which is one reason my mom said she could not watch them one time " i can't afford to feed them!" ) and the girls are sensitive so they cry a lot. but only for me it seems. no one else says they cry. i'm so happy they save that all for me.

god, that sucks! i never have free time at home since they are always with me here and i am never alone, but (for right now) i can at least go out and leave them with my "husband" if i want to go out with friends. that will all change some time this year though and i think i will know exactly how you feel. i will always have at least 1, 2 or all 3 of them in the near future.

It won't be forever though ... seems like yesterday I had my oldest .... she's turning 8 now ... the time flys by.
