Head Wreck
tbh mate. my experiances with the recent cinese replicas are out of this world. theres no justification to buy a marui nowerdays unless its an mp7 (china hasnt perfected these yet). and the TM p90's dont have a metal reciever. the helmet you have is a british MK6 helmet (would have to look inside to see which revision) and the resi is an avon S10, but the canister used is unkown to me, the british ones are shorter black items. with S10's be carefull as the lenses arent up to much of a beating unless you have the rarer versions which have domed lenses rather than recessed leses, the lenses can shatter and the bits are usually quite sharp

n0Mad
Just to brief you on the difference between mace and pepper spray... there is a difference even though they do the same thing..Mace shoots out in a jet stream, this gives it a longer range, however due to the jet stream if you hit someone in the face within less than 10 feet (well the kind I have, you risk the pressure being strong enough to puncture through their eyeballs, and inject the liquid into their eye, causing severe and permanent dammage, the closer they are, the more likely it will happen. THIS IS WHY IT'S ILLEAGLE. Pepper spray, sprays out in a mist and is 100% safe (however very painful just the same) and cannot do any severe or permanent damage. however due to how it's propelled out of the cannister, it's range is very limited meaning your opponent has to be within one arms reach of you practically, which means you.. and your spray, are within reach of them... a relatively ineffective weapon against someone who is quicker than you. Actually, the propulsion isn't the issue. Either can shoot out in a stream, a mist, a foam, or any other method. The difference between mace and pepper spray is what they're made out of. Mace is a form of tear gas, mainly 1% CN gas in a solvent of sec-butanol, propylene glycol, cyclohexene, and dipropylene glycol methyl ether. Pepper spray on the other hand is exactly what the title says, a spray made from the essence of hot peppers, or Oleoresin Capsicum. You can find some maces that contain Oleoresin Capsicum, and some OC spray that contains a partial amount of tear gas. Additionally, they do not have the same effect. OC is an inflammatory agent therefore much safer to use than mace which is an irritant. Oh, and by the way, stun guns, tasers, or any other electronic shocking device is illegal to own in Michigan. Didn't know that about the tazers and stun guns being illeagle here (so they either want us to kill eachother or not fight at all it seems) but I'll have to do the research on the mace/pepperspray again. I was going by what I learned in training to use mace (OC spray) And breaking it down, the active ingredients were the same, some were more potent than others, but that wouldn't have changed the name there's a number rating to how much active ingredient there is, and then model numbers for the size of the container it's self. I remember them specifically saying that the difference was in how it was projected, and the technical term for the active ingredient.. (Grabs bottle cuz it's a bitch to spell) is Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) Solution. I have to bounce soon, but give me a few days (sunday) before I'm at a computer again to look up any research and link it here. I set myself a reminder to do so for I wanna know what's up and if things classified differently in the military than the civilian sector.
Rayne
I want the blades from BloodRayne ... the short ones and the long ones. Just because. I'd never take them out of the box ... sharp objects are not my favourites ... but I still want them.

Additionally, with more companies adding OC to tear gas spray and tear gas to OC, they pretty much are becoming the same thing. Michigan is thinking about allowing private security to use stun guns/tasers so if that gets approved, the civilian sector will likely follow shortly. Ivy13
Pluse when most people hear the cocking of a shotgun, most don't want to stand around to find out why they heard it. XD I like this theory. We have a shotgun. We also want to get a baseball bat but hubby says a cricket bat would pack more punch.

Sybil
I recently learned to shoot, and as it turns out, I am really good at it. Even with my severe coffee shake, I am a sharp shooter. So, I am going to get a 22.. I hear they don't have to be registered. So.. I am all about target practice now. AND, its weird.. and ladies out there who shoot??? When you learned and found you were good, did you feel a sense of security wash over you.. like.. Hey, I could defend myself a little better now, if I ever had to. ???? Does anyone know what I mean? DONT get me wrong. I am not violent. I am only saying if I had to do something I have the knowledge now. Yep, its weird.. I feel more secure now.. just a pinch. I know what you mean, My ex wife had the same feeling after we shot a couple of boxes together. Please research gun safty. Its not the gun that causes the accident its just plan ignorance. here at my house, when we are out shooting in the back forty. If you dont respect the guidlines I have set so no one accidently get's shot, your weapon is taken away untill you leave and you have to go sit in the house with the rest of the hens. you must practice things like never walking in front of the fire arm. walk behind the man with the gun when walking up to check targets (or leave them with the chamber open on the fireing line). never load your weapon untill its your turn to shoot, and your 180 degree fov is clear of any one who might accidently walk into your line of fire. make sure every one behind you is at the very least six feet away. practices like this assure a fun filled afternoon on the range. rules like this sound bothersome. but with practice, it comes as second nature and, no one realizes they are actualy following the rules. Safety FIRST!!! I completely agree with you! I loved learning. I think with each new "skill" you must pay close attention to all the details. And wisdom comes with doing what you are taught, HOW you are taught. Yea, I exercised care and reminded the guys after to check the guns one last time, and one was still loaded. :/ I am a believer in fun, but safety first. Thank you so much, what a good teacher you are, and also that was really encouraging.. sometimes people forget to be safe and watch out for one another, and then, sadly.. bad things happen. :/

Head Wreck
i find women are better shots than the men. the female paintball teams around here tend to massacre the male teams. same thing in airsoft i find but they dont take well to my kind of ambushes
Destroit
I am a wonderful shot, sadly I am a bit to psychotic to own a gun. I've never been told I can't but I choose not to, 'cause I have used to have self-destructive bouts of craziness and don't feel comfortable with one. I wouldn't be the type to take anyone else out, but you know, I dunno. The only weapon I have, if you could call it that, is a replica of the sword from Kill Bill. So I am now Uma Thurman

odims_sphere
i find women are better shots than the men. I've discovered the same thing in the army. The reason for it is that guys are egotistical and believe they have to already be good shots and therefore reject instruction resulting in lower qualifying scores. On the other hand female soldiers readily admit they don't know how to shoot so they just do exactly what they are told and seem to do really well. No, I have been to a range a looong long time ago, and that's how I discovered I'm good. Since then it's only been Halo lol. I can pistol snipe a mother fucker from a mile away on that shit. But even in real life I'm a damn good shot, but haven't really shot a gun since I was younger.
