hi ppl:)

i'd like introduce myself to your fair community:D

my name is Morten, and i live in denmark(hope you don't mind /beg) in a fairly large city(for you it would be a village^^) called Holstebro. i just turned 15(3 june. yay to me:D). i go to a school called: nørreland(note that in denmark both elemtry and high school are in the same building) which is quite okay, better than most other schools in holstebro.

i listen to, well.. most music. i know the cliché, but i think i do. all from cannibal corpse to burzüm to §119 and casualties to bob marley and david rovics. but i don't like alot of american music, cuz it sounds to commercial, i mean some of it you can actually hear it's made to as many ppl as possible. my favorite bands are burzüm and mayhem(both from the norwegien black metal era)

i'm also into politics, and i define myself as a anarco socialist, pacifist and a semi Autonome(so piss me off, and i'll make you eat the sidewalk!:p). i could write tons of pages about this, but i'll spare you:D. i'm single, but reserved^^(doesn't really matter i guess, as i asume that none of you are interested in having a boyfriend that lives over the atlandtic sea:P i'm not:D)

i'm here because i'd like to talk with alternative ppl and VF is not for me(for me that place is just about getting 10 rates.) plus i'd like to meet some goth and gothic people that aren't a bunch a arogant snobs(most of the goths/gothics in holstebro really are:S) and you guys in here seems nice:)

thats me in short words. i hope you'll accept me here^^

bye bye:)

Hiya,

Thanks for taking the time to introduce yourself. Usually a good sign of a friendly person. There is no need to be particularly "from the USA" here. We have people from all over the world. Happy to have you here. =)

In terms of music, I'd caution you about making a general statement like that about "American" music. There is "American" music that is just one man, living in his basement with only $1 to his name. There is also million dollar "huge" music groups like you are talking about, but the variety of choice in America is very, very large. Probably the only "American" music (nothing really makes music particularly American, its all different) that makes it over to Europe is the really "big music" so you don't see all the smaller stuff that we have to choose from. Even just here in Detroit, Michigan USA there is everything from very small Gothic/metal bands to huge international "processed" music as you say.

Anyhow , doesn't matter if we agree or disagree about such things. Its always nice to have thoughtful friends to talk with, no matter how far away they live. =)

I used to talk to a lot of people from Norway/Sweden/Finland online when i played a game called Tibia. Most everyone there seems to speak good English like you do. =)

Hopefully we will see you again.

A big hello from Detroit and welcome to the board. :welcome: I just love it when people from other countries join up on DGN, makes it very interesting to see what it is like in other parts of the world, especially for other goths, so we hope to see you around alot.

well i didn't expect such a nice greeting:D thx guys and grrls(lolz:P) can't stop smiling:D

sass_in_the_pants: er du dansk?:D(are you danish?:D)

Homicidalheathen: haha damn it! I'M LEAVING! nah not really^^ well i didn't expect to score here or anything(it would be waay too much in flytickets:P) plus maybe it's kinda good for me to talk with "non-teens" and suck som RL-XP from you guys:D

Troy Spiral: thank you:D yea i know. it wasn't that specefic, but lazyness came and stroke me:P but it's not only the mainstream music(which i must admit you are indeed good at making:D) it's also those small bands from all around the states. it misses that something that indigo-european has(ooh now i'm sounding like a neo-nazi. damn it:P) a special admosphere that it has. plus the american accent doens't sound to good in black metal(sorry guys) the best black metal langage i norwegien english or maybe swedish:P and i don't really listen to any gothic music(other than COF of course, which i also could whine about for hours:P) it's a little too industrial for me.. but with rules, there is allways exeptions:P

BrassFusion: well thank you:P is it in cakeform?

Chernobyl: hehe well thank you:D well i donno if i am a goth, but i have at least a gothic touch:P i'm just good old silly me:D

i hope to see you guys around:D with such a greeting it would be very rude indeed to just leave:P and i'd like to remind you that my the 2666th member. i'm the 3rd antichrist in here, so anger me, and i will do nasty things:P
