Allan's 40th Birthday!

Hello Everyone,

Some of you may remember an old member of DGN back long ago, Allan. (I had to edit this to make sure everyone knows which Allan I am talking about- Allan B. who's username was i_am_allan and some of you may know him from Livejournal as such. He is NOT on MySpace at all, so if you think you know him from there, it's the wrong Allan).

Some of you here are RL friends of his whom I don't have phone numbers to call. (Allan doesn't keep a phone/address book I can find for his friends!) Allan's becoming an old man on July 1st, turning 40. We're having a very casual get together that he doesn't yet know about at our private home in Ann Arbor and I would love if some friends and acquaintances would stop by to wish him well. I know he'd love to see you.

If you would like to come, please reply to this post and I will message or email you our address and more details along with my email address/phone #. It will be on Sunday, July 1st from 2PM until....? whenever. You only turn 40 once and there's only one chance to have people harass you for going over the hill, so please stop by!

Its pretty hard when it seems he has virtually no "public" way to be contacted, no web presence and no inclination to create any, and probably will never see this post.

Ah yes, well...Allan used to post to DGN waaaay back in it's first incarnation. I think about a year or two he stopped posting. As you know Troy it's all your fault that he and I are involved. hehee heee I never would have moved here from RI and gotten involved with him had I not 'met' him first on DGN.

I'll pass along your happy birthday. The way to get in touch w/ Allan these days is through me or Livejournal (username: i_am_allan) or to stop by on his birthday at the house!

Well I am his girlfriend and he is sitting on the couch watching Stargate on SciFi...not celebrating his 40th birthday that doesn't happen for another two weeks. *lol*
