It was 3 years ago...and didn't you tell me that you got hit on more times the month that you got it cut than ever before. =P

Seriously, though, guys, we all have different preferences. I shared mine. The next woman to come along probably has completely different taste than I do, so cutting or growing out your hair solely to attract women is kind of fruitless. Not that I think anyone on here really needs me to reiterate this, but if you like your hair, who cares who else does?

I didn't care. I just went and chopped it off. It IS medium length though. Needed the change and in time for the upcoming hot week I hear. Definitely felt weird getting out of the shower and expecting to feel the slap of hair on my back only to not feel it haha. Looks ok, but more importantly, I needed to make things interesting and different.

sometimes a different look gives you confidence and makes you seem more flirty, and that's good. as long as you did it for you, and you like your new look...

how long the hair is has nothing to do with the person .. you don't fall in love with hair. ;)

The same can be said for size (in any context) or a physical handicap...but both can be a hindrance to meeting/dating/falling in love.

Reaper...how about some pics!!

I've dated men with long hair. They were cute and wore it well, but I was never terribly fond of their hair. I secretly wished they would chop it.

First of all, unclogging bathtub drains of my OWN long hair is pretty disgusting, so if I had to pull a big hair ball out of the drain of my husband's...ICK!!

Years before I met Guy, he had long hair. He also wore a black trench coat, and boots, and generally looked like a thug. The girls he hung out with told him to cut it. The boys he played LARP with told him not to. He listened to the girls. And I'm so glad he did. Honestly, I saw his pictures before and I didn't like him with long hair. With short hair, he's SO cute, but with long hair, he just looked wild. With his hair short, he looks sweet. Granted, he's still wild, and the short hair thing is just a ruse, but still, I like it.

So, if you want to try something new, then go ahead and cut it. It's just hair. It grows back. Maybe some lady will go for it. Maybe you'll get a promotion. Maybe you'll see it and you'll love it. Then again, maybe not. *shrug* It's no big deal either way. Even people with a very specific 'look' get bored with it and enjoy a change every now and again. No harm in that.

I will say this, though, that many of the men I have seen with long hair hide behind it, and from the pictures I've seen of you reaper, you're a cutie, you should let the ladies, and the rest of the world see that. And though SOME women might love your long hair, I think EVERY woman would like your pretty eyes.

I prefer long haired guys to short haired ones myself, as long as the hair is well kept. If its all frizzy and nasty or unwashed for too long, I may think twice. But If they take the time to comb it, maybe rub some Nexxus the size of a dime in their...I'm all abouts it.

No answer applies to me.... my husband had long hair when I met him, and only well after we started dating did he shave his head. I do like guys with long hair (when it doesn't look cheesy, and when it's well kept). I also like short ahir and bald, too. Guess it depends on the guy.

I, myself have been contemplating cutting my hair too.

For along time actually.

I don't have any real hairdressing skills so I won't attempt doing it myself.

If I do it.

But, I am currently very unhappy with what its lookin like these days.

There was a look I was goin for, I think I pretty much nailed it in my avatar pic,

but haven't been able to repeat it since that photo was taken.

It's still tie-able, but it is shorter now then back when that was taken.

I've made changes to my diet, and to my shampoo.

But, I think now, it fits into that category of not lookin so good.

Maybe its time for me to also do something different.

Its been almost 14 yrs, so perhaps I'm due..

I'd like to add, that if I cut my hair, gaining attention from a woman, is not my main motivation, although it would be nice.

Thoughts ???
