I can't miss 80's fashion. It keeps popping up on people everywhere I look. Bright colors, off the shoulder tops, skirts and dresses over leggings, huge belts, spike heels, I even saw jellies in a store the other day. The 80s are back, people.

sure it might be "back" but it will never be the same. having 80's fashion come back in a new decade does not make it anything like the real 80's time period was. it's so much more than the fashion. that goes for any fashion come back. they are all just wrong if you ask me. trends are trends for a reason. and should die out peacefully and gracefully when the time comes.

in the 80's i was ages 6-15, so for me that was when i "grew up". i guess if i grew up in the 50's, 60's or 70's i might feel the same about those decades then as well? but i can't be sure since i grew up in the 80's. some of my all time favorite music to this day comes from the 80's. anything genuine 80's triggers this feeling in me i can't describe. a happy, good, carefree feeling.

I would have carefree happy memories only except......in the 80's in when I had to hitchhike to college everyday.....lived without heat, water....electricity for awhile.....was homeless for awhile.....starved......you see there was this thing called a recession...

Jobs were few for younger people with no experience or education. Not much has changed I guess.
