FarrIL
I visited a specialty store in Cadillac recently, called Krazed. They were having a sale "Everything is 20% off and jeans are 12.50 a piece." I took a large looksee at the boot collection Amy had in the store. I saw the boots that are pictured above and remembered my opinions of these boots when I first saw the photo. I wasnt too keen on them. The heel just looked way weird to me. But, out of a nagging curiosity, I tried them on. Holy shite...... sure the heel looks weird but you have NO idea how comfortable these are on the feet. The heel and platform..... despite the height, my once-operated-on feet can wear these things several hours out of the day and never so much as make me say "ow." I have worn these to work on several occassions, being on my feet for at least 3 hours, and my feet dont whine. These boots are comfortable as hell and the photo doesnt do them justice. And you wouldnt believe how cheap I got them for. Whereas many a website can charge you 60 bucks, minimum for this exact pair (( not including tax )), these were pirced at 47 bucks at Krazed.... Amy makes it a point that her items are on the better side of affordable. Anyway, I had been oggling a different pair of boots, ankle-high, bright PVC pink and a clear heel but sadly, she didnt have my size. These were priced at 42. Amy offered, "Since you drive so far to see me, I'll make those boots the price of the pink ones". So now these 47 dollar boots are now 42. Now, add in the 20% discount. I also got a discontinued buckled cuff out of the deal. 8 dollars originally, Amy gave it to me for 5.50 (( before discount )). My entire purcahse was 40 bucks and some odd change. The boots werent expensive at all and regardless of if they were or not, they're comfy. =

FarrIL
directions to this store are where? It's quite a trek, even for me: Take I-75 to exit 162B towards Midland but follow US-10 WEST ALL THE WAY to the Cadillac exit. Make a right at the stop sign and follow M-115 (?) down til you see a BP on your right. That road is Mackinaw trail and follow that til you hit a stop light, make a left into Cadillac. Krazed is right behind a graphics/screen printing shop on Water street, you make a left at the light. I suggest a "DGN Field Trip" we can all meet at my 'rents house here in Midland then you all can follow me to Cadillac. =D (( I suggest bring lots of gas money and lots of spending money =3 ))
DJ Nocker
That is a really far trip for me considering I live In brighton....damn. I probably wont ever get to see the place, oh well... I really need to update my clothing, at least in the gothic fashions... I dont like going to noir...its a nice place but the selection is not very big and the prices are just...ouch. Any other neat stores? aside from online ones?

Any other neat stores? aside from online ones? Hence why I said field trip, ie carpooling. As far as other neat stores..... I hear Showtime Detroit is good but I havent the slightest clue as I've never been there. Krazed is like Noir leather, only a lot more affordable. What you might waste in gas, you make up for in what you DONT spend on goodies at the store..... because the prices wont make you cringe. Sure they do have a few pairs of boots that go over 70 dollars, one or two of which do cost over 100 bucks, but the majority of their boot collection is 64 dollars or less. There's also lingerie/hoisery, wigs, jeans (( customized by Amy's hubby )), jewelry, hair dye, other hair accessories.... there's tons of stuff there. The guy collection isnt as versatile but they're working on it.
n0Mad
I found her MySpace site (and noticed you were listed in the top friends ). She needs a cyber shop though so all of us scattered across the rest of Michigan (and the world) can buy her wares. Even with shipping it would still probably cost lest than other places. She's actually working on a website currently. It's not up yet but eventually, there'll be a cyber-store so you can alls hop from home. I'm giddy for when that happens, because the store is just that awesome. =

Fierce Critter
Showtime is cool. But they don't have larger sizes, and they're expensive. I agree, though, Dan is a trip. Whatever you do - when going through racks of clothing, move them around by the hanger, not by the garment. TRUST ME!!! Cool boots. I love Cadillac. A must-stop area on our way to Traverse City. We're hoping to get a camper soon, and if we go up, I'll be sure to check the store out.
