Transformers!

So we watched it Monday night at 8, what ruined it for me was seeing the city shots. Now that I can tell which are Detroit and which were Los Angeles, I found myself paying attention to where that exact shot was located rather than the action going on.

I did not like the look of Megatron at all, something out of an anime loving teenage boys wet dream, it left me with a bad taste in my mouth, I guess I'm just old school.

All in all it was good, just basicly an old school Transformers story line with better writers and alot of CG.

Oooh, see that was something I LOVED about the movie, and something I think they should have carried through with -ALL- the decepticons. I mean why were they -hiding-? The broke everything they came across anyways, ya know? And they didn't really try and confuse us with who the good guys and who the bad guys were (Which would have been a cool alternative.

I like Megatron as this monsterous alien 'thing'. I would have like to see them all in that form.

But that being siad, I wouldn't change a -thing- about it. I loved it from start to FINETO!!!!

I saw it... wicked awesome. I loved that it, (the movie), didn't try to take it's self to seriously. for instance when the little boom box deceptcon was walking away from air force one and trying to be inconspicuous by putting it's hand up by its face, all like "you don't see me, i'm just walking here", like no one is going to notice it's a 6 foot robot! funny stuff. I loved it.

GRRRR I'm so mad. I wanna go see it. Raven is supposed to take me out on my birthday and see it, then we're going to some buffet 'cause we're secretly fat people and love to gorge on shit, then we're going to Disintegration Disco! Hope some of you are there when we go.

I am thinking I might go see this tonight at the Emagine....anyone wanna meet me up there and have some brewski's and watch a flick?

I would except Cate and I already saw it yesterday. Plus she's going to Tool tonight and I'm packing for a scuba trip tomorrow. I thought about you while watching it though. You'll love it.

All I can say is: If anything can take out a Decepticon, it's an A-10!

prolly my favorite plane, er... well basically a huge cannon with wings.

and the fact that one of these was a transformer was awesome:

I have a buddy who is actually operating this bad boy in iraq. it's only job is to find IED's and dispose of them.

That was a really fun movie. I would not mind going back to watch that again. It actually elicited applause from the audience I was with -- not the sort of movie thou'd expect that sort of thing from.

Then again. Big stompy robots. Explosions.

Funny as the same thing happened from my time at Emagine Canton. People applauded afterwards like Star Wars.
