Jon says I should do plus-sized goth modeling.

I know he means well, but, well, Jon is one of those rare gems that likes chubby chicks. His viewpoint is far from objective.

Still, I used to be in direct contact with the people behind Torrid when they were still plus-sized goth/punk. They wanted me to model, but 1) I don't live in California so 2) it wasn't worth it for me since they don't pay their models.

Not that I have to get paid. But that just wasn't in the cards.

If you're not comfortable having all of you photographed, how about just some portraits?

Cool. I'm going to be living near 12Mile and Southfield Rd. so that'll be an easy trip either direction on Southfield Fwy.

I can be comfortable being photographed full-on.

But it'd have to be in the right clothing, with a photographer who's good at micro-posing to hide the worst and bring out the best.

I've never heard the term "micro-posing" though I understand what you mean by it. I have some ideas on how to make you look awesome and goddess-like. *Evil grin*

Me neither. Camera always picks up the absolute worse in my features (at least I hope that's what it is and I don't really look like what the photos show! Aaaahhhhhh!)

Photoshop is great! Most of the few actual pics of me I've uploaded have been tweaked in Photoshop in some way or another. I love that software, but I have so much to learn in it yet.

Ditto. Well, I don't exactly hate pictures of me, they just never seem to turn out that great either, just kind of mediocre. The angle or the lighting or something always winds up off in my pictures.

When I go home to the Lansing or Battle Creek areas to visit my parents, I get people asking me if I'm a model. *Sighs* They don't have a clue.

maybe she's born with it.....maybe its maybeline! You know whats weird a lot of photagraphers want to just take pictures of my just eyes. And when i was younger i was told i could do hand modeling.
