somehow i always get really drunk and then wake up the next day not remembering what i've done or said... but get replies on myspace from absolute hotties. Pretty much that's stopped since i quit drinking after i woke up naked in a patch of poison ivy but... i'd still like to know how i got em talking to be to begine with dammit lmao...

...one i kinda remember was "wow you're so hot i wanna knock you up"... oddly enough.. that worked..

she kept bugging to meet up with me for a week after that...

Wow...this is funny.

All the advice is to trust yourself. If something feels wrong, it probably is. We humans dont know how to trust our instincts very well.

Because our teaching is that our inner feelings are just BS. My experience is that they are themost important ones we have. BUT... you have to separate it from the other thoughts you have. Quiet your mind and it'll be there.

Every movie, fluff novel... TV show (or psycho ex) i ever saw teaches us 'go with your feelings'. Most of modern pop society is all about "do what feels right", that's whats "taught" culturally.

"Do what feels right" almost always is a recipe for disaster, if its not at least fairly heavily guided by your "non feelings" (also know as intellectual reasoning, the uniquely human thing that even allows us to ponder such stuff) This whole thread is filled with examples of reasoning, and NOT just going with your gut.

Worst decisions I've ever made have been from just letting my guts/emotions do the thinking and not my brain. I'd be very careful about the "do what feels right" line of reasoning.

If I did "what feels right" every time I met someone, I would be morbidly heartbroken. To some people, what feels right always feels right until you find out later that it really didn't. There are many who often fall victim to their own heart. I know I did it for quite some time.

Hmmmmm....

On a first date - believe on laying it all - no games no lies... just honesty at it's purest...

This shirt (i wear on blind dates) usually breaks the ice and sets the tone on my first dates..!

I think there's a difference between the "do what feels good" conscious voice and the one I'm talking about. The one I'm talking about is usually the voice of reason and self-preservation... not stupid, selfish leaps of faith.

A good tip would be :

When someone asks you "Whats your sign?" don't reply, "FUCKING CHRIST YOU DON'T BELIVE IN THAT SHIT DO YOU????"

Usually kinda is off-putting. Hehe.

LOL, I would just like to note that Troy Rules.

Carry on.
