Fierce Critter
I had this ongoing dream last night. Kept finding my husband messing around with this other chick. Handled it as best as I could, with plenty of threats if I caught them together again. In the last installment, I caught them together and finally snapped - grabbed her by the head and was slamming her skull on tables, against walls - but even that wasn't violent enough for how I was feeling. So I finally grabbed her by the legs and swung her head against the wall until her head popped off. Woke up pretty quickly after that. I don't need a big analysis of what this means - I'm familiar with dream imagery and how it reflects or symbolizes real-life issues & situations. I was just kinda amazed at just how violent I got in dreamworld. And upon waking, there was so much residual "bad vibe" I just about felt like taking a shower. And now I miss my husband terribly while he's at work. Ever have a "dreamvibe" follow you into your day like this?

Shade Everdark
Oh, yes. Most of the dreams I actually remember do that exact thing to me; they leave me feeling very "weirded out," very disjointed and somehow not quite in sync with the world around me. I don't think any dream disturbed me more, or for a longer time, than one I had while I was still with my now-ex-fiance. I had dreamt that I walked in on my fiance being unfaithful...with my father, of all people. Now, as one might expect, in the dream I got quite upset and began berating the both of them with the strongest language I could "dream" up. My father didn't really like that turn of events, and decided that he was just going to choke me to death. I didn't actually wake up until I had "lost consciousness" within the dream. I had, until that day, thought the sitting bolt upright in bed scenario was just an affectation of Hollywood. I learned better that night. When I came to, I was sitting stock straight, and apparently I'd been screaming. That dream followed me for weeks afterward.
Brenda Starrr
Yes. I had a dream that my grandfather was dying of a heart attack. I saw my grandmother in fear, crying, trying to get help. He was dying in their bed. In my dream, there was a knock on my door. I awoke to a knock on our door. It was the police, telling my dad that my grandfather had died. My dad walked into my room and proceeded to tell my sister and I that he had bad news. I told him that I knew. I saw it happen in my dream. I went on to tell him what I saw. He begged me not to tell my mom, as she was just devastated. At the funeral home, my grandmother told us what happened. It was EXACTLY as I saw it. It's happened a few times since, and I don't like it. I've seen too many things in my dreams that have come true. So much that I don't necessarily enjoy sleep.
