Trying To Lose Weight?

We all know that there's a few sites (well most likely an understatement, I'd say there are many) that are all about "weight-loss" but have really inaccurate information or support fad diets or are just straight up bullshit. I was surfing around for additional tips for keeping weight off ('cause poor Chernobyl picked up like 20 lbs of pudge since last summer due to laziness + reefer munchies) and found one that everyone could benefit from. www.caloriesperhour.com is the site, they have tutorials and info for pretty much everything and aren't out to sell you gimmicks and bullshit. I'm not trying to be all "I'm the authority for weight-loss" or anything, but I WILL say this: I'm a biology major. So, with that in mind, I do have a damn extensive idea of not only anatomy but physiology (i.e. HOW the anatomy functions), and will tell you first handedly that generally everything on this site is legit, helpful, safe, accurate, and the right way to go. I'm not like a promoter for it or anything, just ran across it and decided to share with other DGNers who might be thinking of losing weight, hit a rough spot, or don't even know where to start in the vast sea of gimmick fad dieting bullshit, like Atkens for instance. High protein or high carb diets = BAD news for your body (especially high protein, kills your kidneys so that you need dialysis when you're in your 40s) This website also explains why all of the different tips and techniques are bad/good. I mean, okay I think I go a little overboard on the War on Fat, since I used to be borderline obese growing up all the way until like two years ago. You wanna see skinny you shoulda saw my ass last summer, I was almost like supermodel status. I even looked into one of those t-shirts that says "please do not feed the model". No, but yeah I did gain a good 20 lbs since summer though that I wanna get rid of because the layer of blubberness covers up my hott rock hard abs that I worked on so painfully to get. So since I wanna get in shape again, I figured I'd post that webpage, 'cause it may help others. Aww I'm all caring and stuff :p
