Marc And Shade's Gothic Fashion Advice Thread

Recommended Posts

No I am the one on right, I was being a smartass. Couldn't help myself.

I have straight hair naturally but I perm it. I have bangs because I feel like I have a huge forehead.

Curse you!!! :p

I was thinking once you grew them out.. brush the hair across so it covers most of your forehead. If you don't like hair in your eyes... Your not goth enough.

Well Marc, you know what I look like.

What kind of haircuts do you think would suit me?

I like short, wavy hair on you. Your's is thin, though. On a woman with your frame... you need it to be fuller looking, I think. Makes your head a little more proportional to the rest. Don't you dare change the color.

Here's a couple of pics. Let me know what you think. And nom I'm not gonna jump off of a bridge or building. I hate heights.

OK sir,

Thing one. When the hairline recedes, it's time to reevaluate your hair cut. Why do you think I'm bald? If you don't want to go that extreme I'd look at other options. Short and spiky would probably look cool on you if your hair does that without too much fuss. Or wear a bandanna all the time...

I'm fine with the middle photo. You're a big fella, especially up top. Dark colors work well minimize that and jeans seem to help minimize your overall size.

Hotness!! The dark blue hoodie brings out the color in your eyes. I like the pirate-ish style of the capris, especially since they show off your legs. I prefer the hair in front of your left eye the way you usually wear it, but I think Shade and I can live with seeing both of them. Now ya just gotta stop your pup from drinking all the Guinness in the house before you go walking him.

*sits back with a tub of popcorn just WAITING for some REAL advice here*

Seriously! That does it, I'm butting in.

Okay, one for the gurus. Hair. Long or short? I've been growing my hair out but it is starting to get on my nerves. I get alot of compliments on it but I'm thinking of going w/ a bob-cut.

First off your hair color is GORGEOUS! But- I don't think a bob would flatter the shape of your face. The long hair looks nice but if you are eager for a short style I would suggest something like

or

Kay...here's a tough one.....ME. Go on you guys...enhance. These were taken over the course of a few years, when I started off with ghostly long hair, after that came the same-hair-but-modified Betty Page bangs, then got the Uma-Thurman from Pulp Fiction cut (not pictured since my lazy friend never uploaded those pics), all the way to my current Monk-Look.

I got nuthin for you babe. You look great in all your various styles. You look great with short hair and long hair. Um... maybe different glasses? Something with thicker frames... that's just a personal preference, though.

I should say I'm not a huge fan of the crazy stripes on the lips and stuff.... But I really like the second image from the top with the red lips and single black stripe. :-)
