crunchy_pickle (5)
I am the captain of this ship. The hull is breached. The crew is mutinous. Land visits my sleep every night. The sharks are frenzied with delight. But I refuse to surrender. I'm not a meal, I'm a man! I'll keep on sailing Til I find land! This ship won't sink Beneath your weight. I have a dream It's not too late! The winds will change. I'll get on course. I scream for mercy but My voice is hoarse. I won't give up. I've come this far. And I've just seen. A falling star. God! Won't you save me from my enemies!? God! Won't you savve me from myself!? God! Why have you abandoned me!? God! Is there nothing else.... God! Can't you tell me if this is all in vain! God! Am I screaming at the air? God! Won't you show me a glimmer of hope in this world! God! Do you even care... Amerist
Land visits my sleep every night. The sharks are frenzied with delight. But I refuse to surrender. It’s the sharks line that really caught my attention. I like stories about boats, even if it’s metaphorical. Sailing is a great deal of fun, but it’s a situation readily fraught with danger, I suspect. Like those sharks and their delight.
