Teenage Pregnancy

Recommended Posts

So My little sister is pregnant, still in highschool and her chances of finishing highschool anytime soon is close to nill. I really don't know how to feel about this, on one hand she's happy- but on the other I don't think she's mentally ready for a child of her own.

Can I get some opionions, and or just talk my frustrations out with someone?

There's not much you can do. It's obvious she wants to have the kid.

Just let her know that if she has any questions about something, that you can give her tips and suggestions.

Let her know that you'll be there for her. It IS her fault, well partially her fault, but I hope the dad is going to be helping out. If he leaves her hanging, get your gun.

YEEEEE HAW! WE IS GONNA HAVE A SHOT GUN WEDDIN!!!!!

I'll bring the moonshine!!!

Ok seriously, i hate people that age because they're brick walls of "all knowing" they think they know what they're doing, they think they're grown up, and then they pull some damn foolish idea like this..

it's like, "YOU FUCKING IDIOT, SEX = BABIES!!!!" But of course, they don't listen, and now that kids gonna most likely have a horrible life unless she really sacrifices EVERYTHING she's ever wanted and needed out of her life for that kids.. but the sound of it is a no she wont. It's just as much her boy's fault as it is hers. So if he runs, make sure the rat bastard gets slammed with child support. If you really wanna be fucking evil, find some way to have Macomb county handle the child support issue. I wish her luck, she really has no idea how bad a kid is going to fuck her entire life up at that age... sigh...

I'm not trying to be bitchy, but that was a really negative post, KBK. It wasnt funny.

You never know, her sister may have learned her lesson and will turn out to be a fine mother and raise a good kid. We dont know how old her sister is, only that she is in high school. A friend of mine is pregnant with her first kid and she's only 16 or 17. Something tells me that she's going to be a fine mother to that baby.

first up, i made a quick joke before i got down to business.. shoot me. and 2nd up. Really, if someone's that fuckin stupid to go ahead and have a baby before even finishing high school... I have SERIOUS doubts that they'll be a good parent with that sorta shitty judgement. It's kids having kids... And there's nothing positive about it so what the fuck kinda positive shit do you expect from me? The only positive that comes from this is the result on the pregnancy test.

She's seventeen and acts like she's five most of the time. She's not that resonsible. I end up cleaning up alot of her messes, but she has been witht he kid's dad for three years. She's not going to marry him, since she feels marrigaes based on children never last.

I'm just worried because she has a dog- and she never takes care of it, I always end up feeding it and taking it for walks and shit. I'm worried that's how she'll be with the kid- that she'll end up getting bored of the novelty and leave it with mom while she goes out to party, drink and smoke... that's how she is.

She's against abortion, so that's not an option, and she doesn't believe in giving HER kid's up for adoption. Her boyfriend's parents have been trying to get her to have kid's since 6 months into thier relationship.

Good god, this just has bright red warning flags popping up all over the place, she's not even 18, she acts 5, she can't take care of a dog, and her boyfriend's parents have been trying to get their sun to knock her up?!?!?! Good god... I feel your worry. This is why i was saying what I was saying earlier. I've got experiences of an ex room mate of mine when I lived in Fowlerville. She was running from CPS, and she'd neglect the hell out of her kid to go out and party... and yeah, she was really fuckin irresponsible, I never saw a dime from her when it came to rent or utilities and other bills so I got the hell outta there quick but just the same... yeah... damn..

I know what you mean, I've a few people that come to mind that got pregnant at that age. And most turned out horrible. The one being my old room mate from fowlerville. It kinda gets under my skin when people think shit like this is ok. If you're not able to take care of yourself, have financhial stability, and show some responsability, you have no business having kids. IT'S ANOTHER HUMAN LIFE FOR FUCKS SAKE. Not a damn puppy dog.. yet ya know, it's like trying to teach a stupid monkey algebra.. they'll just be so totally clueless and go off and do it anyway, cuz they think they know what they're doing... and yeah, they fuck their own life up royally for it, that's fine, i have no sympathy for them fuckin themselves over because of their own ignorant stupidity they stubbornly stuck to. What I do give pity for, is the poor innocent new life that's got the shitty hand of cards at birth.. now that shit's extremely unfair.

the real victims here are the teenagers who are brainwashed into being "against" abortion for no good reason other than some claptrap like "it's killing babies." yeah, I was part of that camp when I was 14.

My grand mother's real Christain.. and she passed that belief to my sister.

Well, dont write her off yet...allot of people start out young but finish well. There are certain schools that help girls with kids finish....

And I know people going to college for the first, and second time....in their 40's and beyond.....

Your going to be an aunt!

Thats the bright side. And, it will no doubt bring some maturity to her......also if his parents are so for it maybe they will buy them a house? I have seen it happen.

Just saying...try to look at the bright side is all. Too late now.

Your sister sounds like a really fucked up little girl, & that's pretty much what she is...A LITTLE GIRL. She needs a serious reality check; and the sooner the better. If she can't even take care of a pet, how the hell does she expect to take care of a baby. Please, for her sake and the sake of her unborn child, find some reading material on pregnant teens for her to read. She needs to relize that once she becomes a mother, her social life will be at an end, she will have to give up sleeping to take care of a crying, hungry, sick child. If she really wants this child, she is going to have make a LOT of sacrifices. She also needs to know that if she gets reported for child neglect or abuse, Child Services will take that child away from her. I was not a teen mother, but my mom was & that was back in 1950 when it was really taboo. She managed to make the best of it, but believe me it was NOT easy for her. I won't go into details but there were times that it wasn't pretty. You have my sympathy & support. I have a daughter who is 16 who has lost her virginity. I was not happy when she told my but at least she didn't get knocked up. I think she's learned her lesson. She's also been in some trouble with the law & now she's on probation. She's now trying really hard to get her life back on track. I pray for your sister to gain some common sense from this experience. :grouphug

I'm actually not for abortion, but I'm not pro life. The fact of the matter is, I'm pro castration. It's simple if one isn't responsible enough to parent a kid and take on the responsabilities of being an adult, then he/she shouldn't be allowed to even have sex. That's one of the few things that we honest to god don't need, is a human life who's fucked in life before they even start living it.

I say after about the third abortion, shove a piping hot rod up the vagoo, and behead the fellow, and stop the problem from repeating its self. But that's just me.

As for the aborted fetuses... I'm sure those certain anti abortionists would just "LOVE" how much thought I put into their next christmas presents...

True, but I can hope she'll surprise me..... They say hope is everlasting. I know I'll be there for her. I just worry.. I worry alot.

And as for this, I honestly hope the same. But if she can't even take care of her freaking dog.....

I'm not going to distort the obvious by being overly optomistic. Just to me... it's just bad news any way I look at it.
