A Death In The Family

Recommended Posts

On July 22 2007 @ 0345 EST,my younger brother was in a fatal car accident on the eastside of Detroit. Some of you who have me on myspace already know, but to those who don't here's the yarn from the RaceR himself: At the before mentioned time my brother was speeding on Warren Ave, going west. He made a left on onto Cadieux going south, where he ran to the back of a execavater's rear bulldozer blade, flipped the car into the air, took out 3 poles, part of a tree, clipped a building, and landed on the roof. A few moments while concered people tried to get them out the car burst into flames, sealing their fate. I was notified appox. 7 hours later at 1045. He was only 18 at the time.

If I depressed anyone with this post, please tell me and I'll delete it.

Thanks for reading.

Wow I'm so sorry to hear that your brother's life was cut so tragically short, sometimes younger people don't think as clear as they should and fate happens :(

I hope that you and your whole family can be strong during all of this, and speaking of family, don't ever feel burdened by sharing with us on DGN, we're like your other family and we're here to help. I wish you can get through this, it'll take quite some time but eventually you'll be able to think of your brother in a happy light and know that he went on to something better and peaceful.

Please except my deepest sympathy for you & your family's loss. :grouphug:cry:flower: I will pray for you & your family. Yes, 18 is very young. I lost some friends at that age back in 1982. It's always such a waste. There's really no other words that I can think of, except stay strong. It will hurt for a long while, but as long as you think of the great times that the two of you had, then he'll always be in your heart. Please don't take this the wrong way, but he's body is dead BUT he's soul still lives; especially in the hearts of the ones he left behind. I hope that helps somewhat. *hugs*

I know how it is to lose a brother.. :( I completely feel for you. Right now, I'm sure you're still in shock and disbelief, surrounded by your family and friends. In the next few months, those will be the hardest. That will be the time when everyone will be trying to get their lives back to "normal" whatever that may be. If you ever want to talk, I'll be here for you. :) >:D<
