I got to be a dancing fool for awhile, and then promptly collapsed in a corner from the heat.

Went there, met no one, lousy set-list, no drinking, left before 2. Won't be back for another few months.

Got a late start, arriving around 12:30. Rayne caught me on the way to the door long enough for a quick, sweaty hug.

Saw Saechalyn and a couple other people in passing.

Had some fun conversation with Troy (clear heels! Poles! Meatwads!), another sweaty hug.

Met Chernobyl & Raven, more sweaty hugs.

Went onto the dancefloor for half a dance before my knees started locking up. Damn, thought I was in better shape now. Guess not. Time to crack out that Dance Dance Revolution.

For the first time, the heat actually bothered me. I will no longer consider people who don't like going there in the heat pussified. Because I am joining their ranks, along with Jon. We left after only an hour because of it. Just not into discomfort anymore.

We'll see you all up there again in the fall.

Got there late after the Slayer concert,but left around 3:15,missed a few DGN'ers sorry bout that,let alone it was an ok night,just that the heat really got to me so it ended up being a leave early night.

damn I hate humidity,still wondering why they don't have the door open by the stage area to let out some

of the nasty stale air.

It was good to see some folks about. Saw Troy and actually got to talk a bit this time. Troy - you should be a standup comic. Seriously! Missing vertebrae? heh heh. I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe.

Got to talk to BrassFusion and Saechalyn for a bit. Very good to see you two. I was drinking a bit, which I have rarely ever done because I hate the taste of alcohol and I am pretty sure I said some stupid crap. Couldn't coordinate myself to have any fun dancing either.

I do believe alcohol and me don't get along. Thought I'd give it a try for a change but I actually feel better drinking large amounts of caffeine.

T'was good to get out but too damn hot, humid and stuffy in there to enjoy it much. It wouldn't take much to add a fan or two in there and bring in some outside air. Someone told me there's actually an air conditioning vent or two. Could have fooled me.

I had my first drinks since maybe February that night. And I have decided to join Jon in abstaining. I didn't need it, and found that I really don't like how it makes me feel anymore. Money saved, eh?

I went with Synthia... It was hot, I didn't see many people I knew and all in all we didn't have too good of a time... Through I did get to meet Troy and BrassFusion... and someone else in passing.. I really can't remember at the moment.

We ended up leaving early, a good thing since the heat and lack of fresh air was making me feel ill.

The heat was unusually harsh. They do have AC there its just weak, i think it must have either been off, or broken. Its always humid there but this last weekend was especially rough. I wouldnt extrapolate last weekend out to mean "this is just the way it is".

On ballance i enjoyed myself. The heat sucked, and i did start feeling sick around 3am when i decided i probably should leave before i got more sick. (the heat didn't help but the reason i was feeling sick was due to my usual health problems)

But, as usual there were plenty of nice people there to talk to and except for my short (stupid) stint sitting down and not being social, which is aways a good way to not have a good time. I was glad i got to talk to everyone.

Onyx - Show up once a decade and hide out in some random corner were i have to come hunt you down? Whats up with that! *sniffles* hehe Was great to see you again. (p.s. my back hurts)

I got some cards passed out, met some new folk, had some good conversations. The night could have been better, but thats always the case. Good conversations, meet new people, some DGN pimping.. what more can i expect? Glad i went despite a few hardships.

In case you don't know the "DGN Corner" is to the right of the bar. Currently theres a table, pillar and white couch there, impossible to miss. Come say hello. If no one is there, stay there, they will show up.

Its a fire exit, and it leads to the hotel elevator lobby. 2 the owner doesn't want it open unless we are doing something with labrinyth or studio 54.
