Rules, Regulations, And Guidelines For Event Posts

In order to make it easier for people to see what's going on when, please follow this format for posting events:

 Make event posts title look like this:

[mm/dd, DAY] (event) at (location)

EXAMPLE:

[04/12, Tue] Awesome Band at Some Hipster Dive

Lamentatious Horrors and Death Symphony thingie

This will make it easier for people to see what events are coming and which ones have passed without having to click on each individual thread. Please do this only for events that have a solid date. Also, 'feeler out' posts (like, "hey, anyone want to meet at Starbucks and freak out the locals sometime?") goes in the Detroit Gothic forum. Of course, once you have a time set, feel free to post in this forum with your title [07/11, Sun] DGNers at Ann Arbor Starbucks freakout.

 The Events moderator reserves the right to make the event title fit these formatting rules.

If you can remember to do this when posting an event, thank you! Otherwise, don't be surprised if you see me do a quick edit.

 Use the calendar, too!

IPB also has a useful calendar feature. Feel free to post your event here as well! Reminders show up at the bottom of the main page within 10 days of the event. Posting both here and in the calendar is recommended as calendar posts don't allow people to post replies and discuss how awesome incredibly gothic your event will be/was!

 Questions?

If you have any questions about posting events, formatting, and whatnot, don't hesitate to contact me or any mod!
