Hatch, Gamer's Dozen, And The Makings Of A New Comic Book Line...

Recommended Posts

Hi, guys--long time no see.

I find it really easy to get distracted by new possibilities and new opportunities... Since moving to Hamtramck, I've found my way into the Hamtramck Arts Collective and been busy with them, building up the burgeoning art community here in Hamtramck, participating in their gallery shows--I had some pieces of my own in the recent Exquisite Corpse exhibition!--and generally enjoying life here.

"Muggers, Movers, and More!" now has a total of twelve games in it, and is now for sale under the name "Gamer's Dozen.". The prototype run has been selling reasonably well, but no bites yet from bigger game companies. Anyone with connections to game manufacturers that want to buy licenses, please contact me! If it gets purchased, I'm offering a 10% commission!

Hatch has also brought me into contact with George McVey, one of the members of Marvel's "Bullpen" back in the 1960s, and he and I have been working together to get a new line of comic books together... including a story of my own, "Mis-Transit," which is still in development. In order to speed up production, we are looking for a competent inker. We're looking to have at least eight books out by the end of the year, and an inker would *really* help with that process!

I also have a couple of independent movie projects in the works, but there's a lot to do before I'm ready to do any casting.

obviously too much time on my hands

Nice to see you around again. Thanks for the update and good luck with all that, sounds like your pretty excited & enjoying yourself.

I theoreticaly can fill the role of an inker fairly well and have done several comic books back in the early 90s (that never got published meh) but just don't have the time / motivation anymore.

DGN along with my health issues and other "life" things i either need to , or want to be involved with wont allow me to get involved. I do encourage you to pursue it though.

Cool beans, Troy... If we ever get out of the Small Press level of business and make it to being known as a full-on Indie label, there's always the chance we'll need new comics titles.
