7 Things Ver. 2

I hope ya'll don't mind if I post twice on this thread because I just thought of seven more things that ya don't know about me. They are:

1. My fave colour is purple. When I was about 12 or 13 I wanted darker curtains for my room because of the back yard light that was turned on at night for my brothers would shine in my room when I was trying to sleep. Back then I had white curtains & I hated them. So my mom took me to K-Mart & I picked out the material I wanted for the curtains. My mom didn't like 'em because they were so dark but I managed to reason with her. Those were my favorite curtains.

2. I was picked on mercilessly when I was a kid; and not just by my dad & brothers either. I wouldn't fight back so some of the Mexican kids thought I was an easy target. I started fighting back by the time I was in 8th grade. I got fed up with being called names.

3. I learned to HATE the man who fathered me when I was five. I no longer refer to him as dad & when he died over 4 years ago I didn't cry. He meant nothing to me & I was glad he finally died. He made our lives a living hell. He was a bully & he was verbally abusive. If I had had my way, he wouldn't even have been at my wedding.

4. My best friend & I have known each other for 37 years. We met the day her family moved on our block. She had just turned 7 the day before & I was still 6. We've seen each other through the good times & bad. She was also my maid of honor when I got married 21 years ago. She's the sister I never had. Heck, we're even closer than sisters probably are. I know we're closer than her & her sister are.

5. I was sexually abused as a child. I still carry those awful memories with me, but I don't let 'em rule over me. I was 21 before I ever told my mom. I didn't tell her before then because I couldn't trust her. I used to listen in from the entryway of our house(when she didn't know I was there) when she would tell my 'dad' what I had done wrong & I'd get in trouble again. I used to hate her for that. It went on sporadiclly from the time I was two to the time I was thirteen. It wasn't just one person who did it either.

6. I hate "That 70s Show". It brings back memories of feeling left out by my family. I always felt like an outsider. See, there are about 4 & a half years difference between my third oldest brother & me & when I was a kid, I always wanted to do things that my brothers were doing; hanging out with their friends. I thought they were cool. When I was that age(13) my mom told me when I got older I could stay out later & go to concerts. When I was 18 AND a senior in HS I had a chance to go to a concert. My mom said yes but my 'dad' had a hissy fit because he didn't know anyone of the ppl I was going with. Well, that was the point. I never had any friends over when I was in HS because he was an asshole. When I was dragged kicking & screaming to Nevada when I was 14 I hated my parents. I was also pretty much an only child since my brothers had moved out. Oh, my first concert was Black Sabbath. I don't even remember it since it was 25 years ago. Besides, I was stoned.

7. I love watching the Food Network, especially when they have shows on about cakes. I've always wanted to learn how to decorate cakes like the pros do. One of my fave shows on that channel is "Good Eats". I like the way Alton Brown breaks everything down to it's simplest form. I know that doesn't have anything to do with cakes, but so what.

1. I have had a pet marmoset monkey, two pet pygmy goats, two lovebirds, one cockateil, a redtail boa, a rosehair tarantula, an emperor scorpion, a brown bat, a savannah monitor, 5 cats, 4 dogs, a brown snake I caught in the wild which gave live birth a few weeks later to 9 babies, a rainbow skink, a uromastyx, and assorted fish.

2. I love 80s dance music

3. I go through momentous personality changes 2-3 times a year that often make those who care about me worry

4. I have tortured animals, for personal reasons and in honor of Lucifer when I was a practicing Luciferian Satanist.

5. On that note.... I signed my name in blood in ritual and promised my entire body and soul to Lucifer over a year ago.

6. I am now completely avoiding religion because I had a paranormal encounter associated with Lucifer.

7. I'm, shockingly, more beautiful than my pictures.

I have to ask.. what did you get for your soul? I mean, beyond the whole easy pass to hell.

1. I'm a Cali girl that wants to move to the east coast.

2. Every few years I want to pick up and move at 25 miles from my current location.

3. I love to travel.

4. I was come from a line of women that are sexually aware at a very young age.

5. I only have two reasons to stay where I am.

6. I enjoy cooking very much, but oddly hate the effort it takes to get started.

7. I hate disorganization but my bedroom room always seems to be in a state of organized chaos.

Kit Kat - Between other thread posts and this one I'm starting to think we were seperated at birth! LOL Although 1 isn't like me, 2 is something I wish I could do, and as for 6, it's the effort to clean up afterwards rather than the getting started that I dislike

And that's how I avoid the clean up, you make a good enough stuffed pork chops and you don't do the dishes.
