White Man Awarded $150,000 in Reverse Racism Lawsuit

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A federal jury awarded a white man $150,000 in a reverse racial discrimination lawsuit Wednesday.

Mark Pasternak, who is white, said he was dismissed from his state job helping troubled youths because he could not tolerate being called names like "cracker," "polack" and "stupid white boy."

A seven-member all-white jury found that Tommy Baines, who is black, discriminated against Pasternak and created a hostile work environment.

It does happen. Me and K used to work for a all black owned construction company. Everyone (even the jewish people and mexicans we had working for us, in and out of the office) got holidays off. We didn't as they said someone had to be in the office to answer phones.....?

K is a manager and does not answer phones......I could see them wanting me to stay as I was the lowest on the totem pole there.....but him? One of the higher ups?

And on major holidays too......

We do think it may have been his boss was flexing his I am a black buiness owner, muscles because even though he did not have a degree like K or I, he struggled, making his buisness grow for years, through getting bid out of big jobs because, even though its detroit.....they would give them to italains or white contractors first......so this was his way of 'getting even'.

I am happy someone actually won in a settlement like this because most people, like us......just figure it will never be in our favor......and quit.

I was turned down for one job and one promotion due to affirmative action. Even though I had more experience than the other candidates, more education, and was the best qualified, the positions were given to young black girls. I'm not saying they weren't qualified, just not as qualified.

Jury of his peers found in favor of the white guy. I say peers because a lot of black people think that they're better than we are.

Yeah I come from a racist family, but some of what they say has merit. When my father goes to work at G.M. 90% of the people he works with are black. He has a few friends but when they get around other black guys they seem to talk a bit more loudly than usual.

They bitch about equality, at least until someone talks about removing affirmative action. I wonder what the largest black political and spiritual leaders thought of this.

Just now reading this. I definitely like the "spirit" of it. (negative) Racism should be viewed as a flat model, not just "in the direction" of one race or another. Unfortunately that's not been the case for a long time (and i doubt will change to much in the next say 10 years) but hopefully it will change.

I have lost friends and the respect of reletives because I will have sex with black people......

You know what? If your that ignorant you don't deserve to be in my life.

My dad actually said this to me:

If you have a black kid (he did not say black btw) like your friend so and so I will disown you.

Well, since then......I have disowned Him for other stupid acts he pulled.

She just lost a 70,000 inheritance because of her mixed black kid who is awesome.

Here she is. I love her. She is sooo cool.

Oh and might I add.......racism is still alive and well around here....kinda off topic but I wanted to post this anyway.

The lady who is the mom of said above awesome kid.......

Has this nice quiet spoken black b/f.

He is very sick. Advanced diabeties. He is legally blind. On dialasis 3x a week.

He had a episode....started convulsing....ect......didn't get his insulin in time so he called an ambulance as she was at work.

They took him to some predominatly white hospital out in Waterford some place.

So, in the middle of the night they are suppose to check his blood sugar. He felt strange, and asked if they could check it early as its suppose to be done like every 2 hours.....well........the nurse just bitched she didn't have time to do 'extra' and waited until the scheduled time........by then he was real sick again.

So because of this he wanted to check out the next day at the time he was suppose to get checked out.....but the doctor wanted to hold him.

Mind you, now his blood sugar is low......which makes him a bit cranky and crazed.....NOT HIS FAULT. He can't help this........it effects your brain.

So the doctor wants to hold him now, as he is having an episode.....that they, the hospital caused.....by NOT LISTENING TO HIM!!!

So the doctor starts waving his finger in the guys face and he smacked it away....knocking his tray to the floor.

The doctor now claims he pulled a plastic butter knife on him (he didn't) and ASSAULTED!!! Him!

And calls the cops.

The cops come, see this disoriented man who is black mind you, and happens to be wearing a pot leaf t-shirt. BAaaad move. They ask him if he is on drugs and keep on with that claim......search him. Nothing found. (he never does anything but tokes a tiny bit)

He gets arrested.

They put him in the elevator and told him he is facing the wrong way and smash his face into a wall.

(his lawyer is going to get the video)

They take him to jail. When my friend brings his 'kit' syringe....ect......ect.....they realize how sick he is, don't want MORE of a lawsuit......and LET HIM GO!!!

Its B/S but it does still happen.

I hope he wins his case.

    • ~~~~~ Yeah, thank you for the check-in.   Happy to say it was all a misunderstanding.  But she pulled out her "ghetto" and that's when things went South.  I get very professional minded when I enter into situations like that because when someone starts bring the court into conversations, I'm in court 2 times a year, every year, so don't go there with me because I will get legal all over you.   She did try to change what she thought she might have said, but I had to call her on it because it's all in written text.  Then she apologized and we were able to have a decent conversation.   I know I joke about me talking so much that people don't hear what I say except for keywords that they are looking for, but that is exactly what happened here.  She heard "payment", "money" and "help out".  It was crazy.  I literally had to have the entire conversation all over again, but I definitely condensed it to only address those 3 words.   Things are back on track, but I emphasized that if she every needed clarification for anything, please say something first instead of jumping to conclusions, then questioning that conclusion, then answering that conclusion, then getting upset at the answer and taking it out on someone who doesn't have a clue what the San Juan Hill just happened.   But this is exactly the reason I do everything with a paper trail.

    • I'm glad  that yesterday's day at work is long gone now. There was a very strong unusual energy that I felt, and couldn't get done with the day fast enough. It wasn't  the job at all. I just felt like I really needed to keep my mouth shut, to keep me from getting in situation(s) that probably wouldn't have ended well for me.
    • You can trust anyone you want.  The only question is whether or not they're deserving of that trust. No risk = no reward.  As such you have to let yourself be vulnerable sometimes and realize that all people will let you down eventually whether it's intentional or not.  The frequency that it happens is what's important.
    • Sorry, I don't check this as often as I should. Anyway document everything (although it sounds like @Trene4000already has been from her post.) It's okay to cry and break down, but not in front of them.  Never give them the satisfaction of seeing you crack.  If anything I'd go out of my way to piss them off, but I don't like being that guy either (and as such I'm not very good at it, except sometimes when I'm not intending to be.) I try to only help those whom deserve it, but that's often hard to judge.  Seeing how someone treats other people is a pretty good indicator of whether or not they're worthy.  Sociopathic narcissistic asshats are very much not worthy. I hope things are going well for you guys.
