I'm trying to come up with a cool/fun/sexy Halloween costume as I may be visiting someone for the holiday.

Any suggestions?

Last year I went as a REAL desperate housewife. I wore pajama pants, a tank, a bath robe, had my hair up in a bandanna and walked around with a coffee cup and a bag of bonbons with a cigarette hanging out of my mouth. XD

I wish I could offer you some advice or costume ideas, but I'm pretty much done with Halloween costumes, I think, since the last time I went all out on one, only one person (at a frickin' party filled with goths, no less) had any idea what I was supposed to be.

It was, in short, aggravating and disappointing.

Yeah I'm feeling pretty disillusioned with the whole thing myself this year. I have a good costume idea, but it'll be expensive, and it doesn't look like anywhere worthwhile to wear it is going to come along.

I went as Destiny from The Sandman comics. There is a bad photo of it in my gallery. Had the book chained to my wrist and everything.

Yeah, that's another problem with Halloween costumes. Well, another two problems: money, and a place to wear them to.

Halloween costumes? Meh, if I dress up this year, I'm just gonna play with paper machete (sp?) and make a mask of some sort. I made the mistake of watching the newest halloween movie. *looks around innocently*

I was debating on whether to have a halloween party or not. *sigh* I want too, but my roommates want to turn my back yard into a haunted house.

For your costume- be a zombie. Take some old clothes you never wear, rip em to shreds and wear those. Now take a bowl and add half a cup of flour and 1/3 cup of water to make a paste. If you have long hair, pull it away from your face. Take the paste (try for lumpy) and smear it on your face. Try to keep it away from your hair as it is a bitch to get out. If you have a hair dryer, use it to dry the paste on your face. It will feel really weird, but looks like your face is falling apart. I usually outline my eyes, nose, and mouth in black eyeliner, or black lipstick before I put the paste on. Once paste is dry, if you have blood red lipstick, you can make some blood trailing down your chin. Once the paste is dry, you can also let your hair down too. Its a pretty cheap way to make a real nifty costume.

Paper machete? Well, at least it's a SAFE machete.

*grins* yeah yeah.. I hope you know i wasn't talking about really long knifes.. made out of paper. So my spelling is off. At least i put the (sp?) by it!! *bops brenda on the head with a balloon*

Yeah, that was such a horrible night for you. It's not like you got to make out with the hot chick on the couch as a consolation. :wink

Medea, have you figured out what you want to be for halloween? You could always go out as a roll of toilet paper, or heck a penis. *grins*

dress up as something no one would suppect you to be. I dressed as a britney spears-like school girl(for a party).........i also wanted to be Nun......I like oing as opposites of what i am, or at least just something i can play with during the night.

This year, my Bf and i (if we can find something to do this year) are gonna be a Pimp and a prostitute. And i'm gonna be the Pimp. It's gonna be Whore-able!
