iv'e been out adventuring.

checking out the country driving a semi.

just got home for the first time in 5 months.

most goth thing that happened. I was sent to pick up an abandoned truck in Blythe C.A.

the rest area didn't have any mirrors in the rest rooms infact no glass around. Blythe was 50 miles east of it in the najvaho desert. in between there i took note of several modular homes that apperently something punched through the roofs of. like only something magneto could do. when we get to Blythe the whole town is boarded up. like 30 buildings covered in plywood. All except the impound lot were all 19 employees are seemingly related. I also notice there is no satelite radio or phone signals or any radio at all. Now i'm on high alert having seen alot of horror films. I'm casing escape routes looking for booby traps that type of stuff. My trainer is a conservative republican and finds nothing suspicious. we get to the truck an it's covered with blood. blood had flowed out of the door covering the fuel tank. the seats were covered with blood. there was bloody hand prints on the window. And most disturbing i noticed ther were chunks torn out of the plastic near the door handle made by desperate finger nails. (try to rip plastic with your finger nails.) further inspection shows all clothing an personel affects still present even a cigeret in an ash tray burned to the butt. and the little girls clothes and the paperwork for his 9 year old daughter still there. "boss I'm not staying here over night"! .

well impound says they don't have a key that we need to stay the nihgt out front to wait for the only lock smith in town. i use the land line in the impound to find a lock smith to come out. we ask if there is a truck stop further west? " you need to stay here tonight" says the 80 year old impound guy. after a long argument we decide to lie an tell him we will go 50 miles east to the rest area we passed earlier as he suggested since we refussed to stay there. then we drove 300 miles west. the truck smelled like warm hamburger meat.

ohh HI everyone long time no see

I drove through Blythe last year during a dessert storm by myself, when the lightening struck, the sky lit up like fire, I drove through that area as fast as I freaking could, it was creepy. 60 MPH winds, and all kinds of crap flying across the road, the whole time hoping that nothing solid was blowing across, and that I wouldn't hit it. I would have been fucked if that happened, no one would have come out to rescue me, and you're right, no cellphone signal. *shivers*

oh my god we are in the age of the Jetsons, god forbid if something isn't within signal/range or can't be done with the push of a button...

Ok now aside from making wise craks about peoples cell phones not working...

that's totally fucked up... And you're trainer wanted to stay there STILL?? (I assume that's where the arguing detail was thrown in for) You had to argue your trainer to get the fuck out of there? Jesus fucking bloody christ...
