Most Comfortable Bras

Recommended Posts

actually i was looking for it on there and i couldn't find it....thanks though.....i guess i will have to keep digging around the lingirie department for it. I was also looking for my fave hanes bras on the body creations website but i couldnt find them.....they dont sell them any more either.

Her is another question does anyone else have problems sleeping without a bra on? I can't get comfortable if i am not wearing one.

I like to sleep in a cami with a built in shelf bra, but that's it. A regular bra is too uncomfortable to me.

Gads, no. I can't wait to get the fucking thing off. But once in a while when I try to sleep on my stomach or to the far side, I get a bit of nipply squishing that's kinda ouchie.

Yes, nipply squishing is painful! Can make ya a bit cranky.

Bet the guys are loving this thread! LOL

To continue threadjacking... My hands make perfectly good breast supports. They have soft skin yet strong muscles to fully support and uplift your busom where it's needed most. Furthermore, they're adjustable from A to DD cup sizes and have a built in massage feature. There's also optional features that require an activation key.

:-)

OMFG...so WEIRD...Raven's hands have all the same features! I think you guys must have come from the same boyfriend store, except he happens to be a uhmm newer model  . He is defective in that every so often one of his "underwire fingers" snags, catching my nipple and accidentally pinching it real hard, causing massive pain. I tried to have the problem fixed, but they told me that he isn't under warranty anymore...oh well, that's life I guess.

I'm not good with bras and names of them so on and so forth, but they have to look sassy. I have no real comfort requirements alot of the times, as long as it doesn't cause boobettes (where you've got shit popping out the top and it makes you look like you have four real small titties instead of two nice big ones). Also...what I lovingly refer to as "tit stick" is unacceptable. Again, for you ladies that aren't familiar, that is when the bottoms of your tits stick to the skin directly underneath where the underwire is because the underwire isn't doing its job, OR it is when both bags happen to stick to each OTHER (again bra lacks in the "lift and support" territory), neither of which is pleasant. Anything other than that is wearable.

i am a 34/36 DD there is no such thing as comfortable for me. im talking even fredricks, vickies, any of that, they come closer but not great. ive been this size since 7th grade and can say with confidence that the last comfortable one i had was when i was in 5th and only a c.

um...yeah. I'm a 42 DDD (bordering on F) and there is no such thing as cheap or comfortable at this size, though I will say when Lane Bryant's Cacique do the "buy, get one half off," I splurge, and some of the styles aren't too torturous.

Hmmm.. None of my bras are inder $15. More like $30 but they last for 2 years or so if I take care of them so it's worth it. I wear a 36 D/DD too and find that Olga, Vassarette, and Maidenform tend to be the most comfy for me. Havn't tried the hanes though I will now!

I like the curvacious ( or however spelt) their 10 + but made for us bigger gals....

I wanted to add my two-cents.

I like the curvacious ones too....but they wear out quickly on me.

I have DD...so I too have had the same problems you guys have. I went for years believing that there was to be no such thing as a comfy bra.....

But then I went to Lane Bryant.... I found out that I was a different size...they'll measure you and everything. Now thier bras are like $35-42 a piece, but I never buy them at full price because of two reasons. The first being that they ALWAYS have bra sales, like at least once every couple months. They are usually buy one, get half off a second, but USUALLY they are buy two get two, so basically you get them at half price. Cool thing is....they LAST FOREVER. But the other reason is that if you go to the website you will get WEEKLY coupons for 15,25,50 dollars off a certain purchase price. It works out really well.

Still seems expensive, except, I've had mine over a year now, and not ONE of them are completely worn out. They all still work, except the white one (that i wear the most) the straps just recently started falling a bit. After over a years use.

So just wanted to let you know.......but one more thing....

If you get the "PLUNGE" bra's at LB, they are the best cleavage enhancers ;) and you can wear almost ANY lowcut shirt and your bra will NOT show. I would do infomercials for these things, and i HATE infomercials LOL

YES!!

I was just going through my bra drawer, and I have bras from years ago (it's funny looking at all the different sized bras I have because of my weight changes) that are from LB and they are still in good shape. Definitely worth the money. And yes, the "plunge" bras are spectacular!!

  • 2 months later...

okay so i actually went to victoria's secret and bought bras for the first time ever! I was always so against it because they are so expensive but i had a gift certificate so i went. I actually am happy with what i got. I learned that i am a cup size bigger then i thought. The lady there said that probably was the reason i can't find comfortable bras because i was looking at the wrong size. Apparently i am a 34 D in almost every style. That kind of makes me feel good.

okay ladies..Maybe you can help me with my little bra problem.

Seems to me that I cant find a comfy bra because Im bigger around, but smaller in the cups.

I can never seem to find the right fit because it seems like the bra companies think that the bigger around you are, the bigger your cup size is and that isnt always the case.

The other problem too is that sometimes Im a B and sometimes Im a C, depending on the style of the bra.

Another problem...one of my boobs is almost a cup size bigger than the other one.

These are big problems for me.

Can you ladies help me out?

I just bought my first Wonderbra and I love it! They were on sale at Kohls for $20. I loved it so much after wearing it the first day, I went and bought another one the very next day. Prior to that I was wearing VS bras and i hated them, but i spent too much money on them to not wear them. I am a 36 b/c and i could never find a cup that didn't give me a huge gap were the cup meets the strap.....until now! Wonder bras are WONDERFUL!! The ones I purchased also have this gel padding that really fills in the spots that need filling and gives me more perk and shape. The straps are thin, but are comfortable and rarely fall down. I highly recommend everyone to at least try one on and see what you think.

do they have pretty lacie ones?

i don't really know? they might have some. i've never paid attention because over all [now] i go for very plain, practical bras. basic black/nude/white is what i buy. i like them to be kind of plain/smooth so they don't show under my shirts.

but i tell ya- they ARE very practical and comfortable and supportive. believe me ;) i can't wear just any bra and these work wonderful for me. not every style though, so you definately have to try them on to see which one(s) works for you. i have found several styles i like and a few that don't work out so well for me.

about wonder bras.....i bought one today and i love it! It was 8 dollars at Tj Maxx. Marshalls has it for the same price. They are cute and comfy. They have Calvin Klien bras there as well for about 15 bucks. I always though vras were supposed to feel pokie. But now that i am wearing the right size i am actually comfortable in them.

And Jandifer i would suggest you try the playtex bras that are nearly C. That line of bras are for women who are almost a cup size bigger. Playtex bras are comfy also. Also bras with thicker shoulder straps tend to be more comfortable. I live Marshall's and Tj Maxx because they have a large selection of bras for al shapes and sizes. Just be prepared to have to dig through everything because nothing is ever organized. The good prices make up for it though.

i used to wear those too-before [pg] and after i had my daughters and i was MUCH bigger. they were comfy, forgot about them.

i would buy them at target and then it got to the point they just never had my size. ever. so i gave up. not sure what i did after that???

but then one day i found BALI! i think it has been about 2 years now that i have only worn bali bras. turned my friend on to buying them too. whenever we get one we love we call each other and rave about it. i think it is the only time we get really girly "oh my god you HAVE to try this one bali bra..."

one time i loved mine so much i caught myself feeling myself up in front of her. i just loved it so much, never really cared much for feeling up on myself before that.

i have fallen asleep in the bali bras before and never noticed the whole night. most bras are WAY TOO uncomfortable for that imo.
