about wonder bras.....i bought one today and i love it! It was 8 dollars at Tj Maxx. Marshalls has it for the same price. They are cute and comfy. They have Calvin Klien bras there as well for about 15 bucks. I always though vras were supposed to feel pokie. But now that i am wearing the right size i am actually comfortable in them.

And Jandifer i would suggest you try the playtex bras that are nearly C. That line of bras are for women who are almost a cup size bigger. Playtex bras are comfy also. Also bras with thicker shoulder straps tend to be more comfortable. I live Marshall's and Tj Maxx because they have a large selection of bras for al shapes and sizes. Just be prepared to have to dig through everything because nothing is ever organized. The good prices make up for it though.

Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it.

so after wearing my new nras for a dew weeks i have come to some conclusions. Although i like my victoria secret bras they stick out in wierd places. They are very comfortable but one of the bras cups fold over on top and you can see that through my shirt. Another sdticks out under my arm but it goves me great cleavage. My favorite bra that i purchased was at TJ maxx. As i mentioned before that is a great place to shop for bras. The bra is lily of france and it is really comfy amf looks great. Its one of those bras where i take my shirt off and feel sexy in it. It just maybe the perfect bra. Soon i am going to be heading to fredricks of hollywood. I am looking for a sexy red bra that gives great cleavage. If anyone has any suggestions let me know.

I'm pretty picky about bras 'cos I hate wearing 'em. In fact I never did until about 6 or 7 years ago, when weight gain and changing clothing styles made it advisable. So if I'm gonna wear 'em, they have to be comfortable and PRETTY... I don't own any plain-jane bras, or white or beige ones for that matter.

Be aware, my suggestions only meet the "under $15" criteria 'cos I hate paying full retail for ANYTHING, so I buy 'em all on eBay or at Value City or Burlington.

With that caveat... for best fit/quality and pretty, sexy styles, I pick Delta Burke, BodyForm (made by Delta), and Cacique (Lane Bryant). Also like Victoria's Secret Push-up Without Padding stuff, although the fit isn't always what it could be since Vicky's general curvy-unfriendliness is evident in their bras. But, the ones I have are pretty comfortable for serious push-up bras, in spite of the lack of side boning or sufficient wing material.

If you look at my photo albums (here & on Myspace, don't remember what's where)... the pink bra in the pic from New Year's '06 is a Delta Burke; the red & black pleated bra/gartini skirtlet set is Cacique.

And of course we all know to go get a professional bra fitting, right? Vicky's & Lane Bryant will do them for free, I'm sure there are other places that do also. What was the Oprah statistic, 80% of women are wearing the wrong bra size? Getting the right size makes a HUGE difference afa fit, comfort, and flattering-ness.

Finally, I think the posters who mentioned Curvaceous actually mean Curvations... very fine bras indeed, with styles to address specific fit issues like back bulge.

Wel i am glad the bra talk is continuing because i went to the bra store near occ in royal oak Bra-vo and i loved it. It turns out that victoria secret sized me wrong. this lady has been doing it for years and she really helped me a lot. It turns out that i am in actuality a sizw 32 DD no a 34 D as Victoria secret said i was. The bras at Bravo are expensive but i love my felina bra. I have to pay alot for my bras now because it isnt a common size. People think i got implants. A lady at one store was like "who did yours?" and i said "God!" To me my boobs dont feel that big but thats until i try to wear a bra thats too small on me. Do you know where that Taylor place is?

I believe it is just online. I just know they ship from Taylor. I checked the site and all they have is a customer returns address in Taylor, so, it's not an actual store. I only mentioned it being in Taylor because you get your orders filled very quickly.

I'm glad you shared that 'cos I've wondered how accurate Vicky's bra fittings actually are... when I went, the lady did it over my clothing & didn't take a lot of time with it, then couldn't decide if I was a 38D or 40C. Have lost some weight since then and 38C seems to work pretty well for me, but still been meaning to go have a fitting at Lane B. one of these days.

At vicky's they just push selling the bras they dont care if they fit you. I went to the one in somerset. They bring you a drawyer full of the size they say you are. They really push to buy you and tell you how good the bra looks on you. The lady at Bravo was so sweet. The bras are really expensive. But like i said the bra she showed has become my favorite. I used to say not to spend that kind of money on a bra but now i see why people do. You can feel the difference. I think every women should feel sexy in her bra even if she is the only one who sees it. And if you are unsure about your size you should go see the lady at Bravo. Its on washington down the street from occ. She will give you the right size she knows what she is talking about.

Arrghhh! I just spent $72 on 2 bras and 6 pairs of panties. Most of it went for the bras.

Oh well, yay for Frederick's. Thanks Kelly! It's the only place that carries anything in my size that I'd be caught dead outside of a nursing home in.

Yup, that was my experience there. Nothing the lady brought me felt really right, and in fact I think the one I bought ended up in a donation box a couple years later. I have a few Vicky's bras that I wear & like... but I wear 'em when I want the serious push-up effect, not when I want comfort. For that it's Delta or Cacique.

My boobs dont stay in one of my vicky's bras. I can sometimes wear a 34 D there but sometimes i pop out. I went to Bra world in madison heights and they were very helpful but they had no bras in my size i wanted. All the bras in my size are either nude or black. I bought a purple elle macpheerson bra at this store called zoe's lace. They had gorgeous stuff! All designer so very expensive. But i found a cute bra there in purple! Also I went to TJ maxx and dug around a messy lingirie section and found a 34 D bra that fit foor 10 dollars! its magenta with flowers on it. I love it. Sometimes if i wear a 32 D i get great xleavage but mostly i pop out. I have to day my calvin kliens have been great. I got them at macy's. At summit place mall the sweetest lady helped me find one. I actually like having a sales lady help me. I actually went to harps in Birmingham and they dont let you put the nra on yourself. Thank god i love my rack or i wouldnt have let her put a bra on me. it was wierd though.

What?!? I don't even like having a sales lady in the dressing room with me. If one tried to put a bra on me I'd bitch-slap her. Seriously, if a sales person tried to put any type of clothing on me I'd walk out of the store, then call and complain to his or her manager. That's sexual harassment in my book.

Theres a new store in waterford call all ladies lingirie. It on huron right off of telegraph i belive. The prices there are prettu good and they carried a lot of sizes. They didnt have a lot of 32's but they seemed to have every other size. They carry many name brands that are below cost so they are pretty good. My aunt is a 42 dd and she only wears wacoal bras which can be expensive. If you got to marshalls you can get a wacoal bra for a really good bargain. Wacoal has a lot of good bras in full figured sizes that are comfortable. My aunt won't wear any other. I found a wacoal in my size at marshalls for 11 bucks! Those bras are usually sixty dollars. I feel so good after getting a good deal.
