ANYWHO, the blood is NOT store-bought fake blood! NOT. I DID use red food colouring, but I also used old and cakey lipstick (( ya know, when it gets beyond expired )) and also red REBEL eyeshadow to set the stains.

Eyeshadow is spread and put all over the shirt to make "lighter" stains.

Food colouring over the chest and back, some of which seeped to the back. Toilet paper used to spread and splatter the food colouring. Same application for the lipstick, only using the lipstick like a crayon in large, gloppy dots. Use toilet paper to spread.

Blush was used to set the goop, and several earthen shades of eyeshadow used to add a "dingy" feeling to the shirt. Also used to "age" the blood and set the stuff.

I am, needless to say, PROUD of my new costume piece. =D

Everybody mentions the bloody boobies.

That was an accident, honest. I didnt check blood placement. D:

My first thought on seeing this was 'Excuse me miss, but you appear to be leaking'.

Not bad at all, though. I do like the home-made blood fun.

Found a couple of sites that have some decent recipes for blood, if you ever want to play around with larger amounts or want to try something different:

Blood!

More blood!

Great job, Farril!

Notice the exsessive blood in the breast area. =P

My point exactly. Looks like she wiped her hands there to get the blood off, which is ok I guess. although if you're going nuts on a body with a knife then there should be more blood, all over and not just localized, and more splatter points all over the shirt from blood flying. Also the light to dark ratio is a bit off.

Sorry I'm a bit of a critic when it comes to gore. But any is better than none for sure.
