the eternal
Radiohead, the band that all critics have declared Lord Sovereign of existence, Before whom, all music was simply two caveman banging rocks together, and the meaning of life was null and void----- have released a new album. AND GUESS WHAT??? "It is the most critically acclaimed album of the year. It is amazing! It is stupendous! It is life altering! " It is something I haven't heard a note of. AND IT'S UP TO YOU HOW MUCH OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY TOWARD IT. Radiohead is basically letting the consumer decide how much to pay to download it from their website. I'm taking it one step further. I'm letting you decide. I like, not love Radiohead. I love the Bends, like OK Computer a lot, Kid A was good, Amnesiac a bit to be desired, and I havent heard much from them since. What do you think???? How much would you pay???
creatureofthenyte
I think that I love the song Creep, but I have not heard any of their other work, so I cannot say.
Slept with ghost
I would try to be fair and set a good price just to find out that the set your own price version is crappy and made on to set up hype for a retail version that will be of better quality
freydis
.99 cents a song is fair, it's what you'd pay on itunes....
Der Nister
That idea will revolutionize the music industry - it will be the norm some day.

Fierce Critter
My "what an album is worth" mindset is hopelessly stuck in the 70's when I used to pay $6.00 for an LP. I have a serious problem paying more than about $10 for an album. Generally, I end up not doing so, and usually get lucky and find my albums at yard sales. I used to haunt 2nd hand CD stores like Desireable Discs & Repeat The Beat. But I haven't been much into buying music lately. I have rarely bought music new. My album collection, from LP's to cassettes to CD's, is probably 90% 2nd hand. Heh. My first brand-new CD was Disintegration. My first used one was The Head on the Door.
