How Do You Picture Yourself Dying?

All too often, I picture both Jon and I dying in a car accident together. And that's strictly because I'm afraid of what will happen to my pets if that happens. Covered in another thread already.

But I really hope that it's of old age, within days or, at most, months of Jon, with my mental functions fully intact, and as many bodily functions as can be managed.

I personally would love to have an immortality serum, or turn into something non-corporeal ala the Vorlons. However, given the ways to shuffle off this mortal coil:

Option One: It is far away in the future. I have done everything I set forth to accomplish, contributed all I can to humanity/sentient beings, and have made it to Hawaii. I sit on the edge of a cliff overlooking some beach, the surf crashing, and start meditating. I watch the sun rise and pass contemplating its beauty.

Option Two: I finally find my soulmate, and pass trying to save her life.

I have no fucking clue... it's always like that with me... I know what I want in the near future, but there's no hint telling what my actual future is like... not even a tiny bit... I'm very random.

There's a lot of '....'

....

Oh well!
