I actually was shocked (in a good way) when Clinton was so damn stern with the guy. Like the look on his face you could tell he was genuinely pissed off, and it's a look I've never really seen on the guy. I was like "wow...I guess he does have balls. Hmmm...so I was wrong, whatev."

Except, we have a constitutional amendment limiting terms. In constitutional law, no amendmend trumps another.

but going with your logic... how does that fall under free speech? You can vote for him if you like... he is just not allowed to hold office. I mean, you can say anything you want... no one is forced to listen.

Yes but an ammendment can eliminate another ammendment. If the people really wanted a third term for Clinton bad enough, the constitution can be ammended. I am not totally sure of it but didn't FDR hold office for 3 terms? He was pretty snazzy.

That was before the limitation was put in place

That was WHY the limitation was put in place. As much as FDR was loved by damn near everyone... they realised what a mistake it is to elivate someone to royalty status. Personally, if it were up to me, there would also be a limit to imediatly family within a 10-20 year time frame... to keep dynastys from starting... such as the Bush/Clinton/Bush/maybe Clinton one we have.
