Oh, yes. Poe was the gothiest Baltimorean of all. And every year, someone still goes in the still of the night and leaves him cognac and a rose. THAT'S badass. And what a swanktastic dresser......

"Bout time someone sees my logic... Gawd its like your inside my head thinking what I am thinking... Or did I think them first, implant the thoughts into your head, and made you 'voice' them on here?

HHMMMMMM?

This is her punk look, vs. her goth look:

She's my Second Life avatar. I wish I could wear these kinds of outfits and go from a full mohawk to a full head of hair with a click of a button. LOL

I can...but it takes a few hours  . Oh how I love being a wigger, and not those dumb rap-white kids, I'm talkin' someone who makes wigs

I tried getting more into Second Life, but between DDR, school, work, boyfriend I just simply do not have the time. What I mean by "don't have the time" is that I know if I started playing it I would probably quit DDR, school, work and have to break up with my boyfriend, 'cause gawd, it just looks like another crack substitute  Like World of Warcraft in disguise or something.

ACTUALLY...I don't remember who said that Harajuku girls aren't goth, but what I was moreover referring to in their gothness isn't the "club kid style" ones (although they're fab too), I was talking something more along the lines of this:

Gothic lolita as it's called (or elegant gothic lolita, depending on the particular style. Yes, there is a difference). Is getting fairly big in America, but almost indisputably started in Japan, more specifically Harajuku. Personally I think it's a great advancement in goth fashion, you can't keep dressing like it's 1985 for forever, right? It's like the people who say "goth isn't what it used to be" Thank God it isn't, that's what I say  especially since I'm not fond of the whole punk/old goth kinda grungy look. Even preppy people change all the time, so why wouldn't "goth"?

The Lolita or "GothLolli" look is really cool.

I don't ordinariily leet my age stop me from makinig outlandish style choices. But I think that look in particular is one Ii might look a bit silly trryiing.

I'll sttick with elegant goth/punk.

(Speaking of stick, I ireally need to take this keyboard apart and figurer outu what in hell is making all my keys double-strike like this...)

Ah, John Koviak - got his Sub Version cassette somewhere in my "archives". Saw him when he was in Faith & The Muse during the Apparition tour back in '96.

I think he is one of the most gorgeous and visually appealing dudes out there.

I'd have love to have seen Sub Version back in the day, but I didn't know he was in F&tM on that tour. Where was that at in Detroit?
