The $1.25 drinks(til midnight)on Tuesdays are house vodka, house gin, house rum, house whiskey, house bourbon & house tequila-with whatever juice or soda(pop) you want to mix it with. Straight up shots are included, too!

Sooo only housemade drinks..... Prolly not that strong? I don't know from first hand experience.

They are strong if they like you and you're a regular. My friend complained last night she has to drink 10 to even get a buzz going. I've heard this from a few other people as well. I can't vouch for anything myself since I don't drink, I'm just relaying what she said to me that night. However they're still pretty damned cheap. I'm not trying to put the room down either as it's one of my favorite bars, I'm just being honest.

The really awesome thing is it's RIGHT ACROSS the street from a National Coney Island, which are a chain of restaurants that are open 24/7 (except for some specific holidays). After you get done drinking (if you drink) you can stumble across to there and sober up/get some food. This is also where a lot of the staff and patrons from Mephisto's eat that live in the northern burbs.

Geez. I' m sorry your drink wasn't to your liking. We very rareley get complaints our drinks are not strong enough. Alot of people like what we do at Luna. I guess you can't please all of the people all the time.

heheh..thanks, Dave. You know how the game goes: gotta balance out the playlist. And i love stuff like Goldfrapp,et al.

After all, we do have 2 GREAT DJs on Wednesday that play all ebm/industrial/etc.

Personally I can't get drunk there......unless its wine.......yuk. I take my own bottle and have a couple shots in the car first........then I just need to buy like 2 drinks.

They are very nice to you in that place though.

first it was 3-D then it was The Groove Room before it became Luna. ..but they've always played a variety of alternative, not just goth/industrial. that's how CC used to be,too..before it became EBM central ;-)

you're right, the staff kisses everyone's butt there compared to a LOT of other bars i've been in. the atmosphere is fun and cool (imo),they have killer drink specials every day of the week,all the DJs are good,the music is a variety depending on what day.

i'm not sure what else anyone is looking for, other than the impossible request of asking the DJ to be a personal jukebox. :-)

Shit, you're talking about that like it's some huge secret. Just about everyone I know does this who drinks before they go into any bar. This is why the parking structure outside of city club was just as popular as the club itself before it got torn down. Structure parties were awesome and I don't even drink. This is also why they made it mandatory you pay for reentry I'm guessing.

But hey, if you don't spend any money then the club closes up and you all can stay at home and listen to your goff muzik.
