I Have Become A Very Angry Person

Recommended Posts

Yes, angry. Livid. Disgusted. And I feel ready to skin somebody alive.

Jeri called the house yesterday while I was out. My nephew, little Spencer, has been being abused by his stepmother since day one. Signs of neglect or he gets treated far different than his step-siblings. He has been manipulated by his father, told things that arent true.

Last night, the abuse came to a head when his stepmother, Sheila, caught him brushing crumbs off the table. Apparently, Sheila lost it.

What could cause my 8-year-old nephew to say "I didnt ask for this family. Just kill me now!"? No 8 year old should be talking like that. Whatever he's been experiencing, it will affect and scar him the rest of his life. What could cause an otherwise happy 8 year old, a good student at his school, to say "Just kill me now"?

Sheila excused Little Spencer from the table, KICKED HIM as he walked away. She dragged him up to his room and sent him to bed with a measly piece of BREAD to eat for dinner. She also took all of his favourite toys away.

Not to mention, she gave him a fit of spankings, "blistered his behind" if you will.

I hope she left marks, because I want to see this bitch and her piece of shit of a husband ROT for their crimes.

What has my nephew done to deserve such mistreatment? NOTHING.

My nephew is a VERY intelligent boy of 8 years old. He can hold conversations better than many kids I know. His report card reads As and Bs, Satisfactory and things of that nature. He is an honour roll student.

I wish the teachers knew what my nephew is going through. If they did, Jeri would have her son in her arms, in her care.

Jeri raised my nephew for the first 5 years of his life. Where was Big Spencer? He was always away on business. He wasnt even there for his son's first birthday. My mother and I were, though. We sat by and watched him mess up his face with chocolate frosting. Where was Spencer's dad? NOT THERE for the majority of his son's life.

And now, big Spencer somehow thinks that Jeri does not deserve her son. The woman who raised him, NEVER HIT HIM, made sure he was fed and clothed and healthy.... doesnt deserve her son?

Where is the logic in that?

My nephew wouldnt lie about something this serious. He knows better than that.

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, hits my nephew and gets away with it. I want to see Sheila rot for what she's done to my nephew. HOW LONG is it going to take to rebuild my nephew's life? After a few years of abuse and manipulation, HOW LONG is it going to take to get him to know differently? How long is it going to take for this family, who cares about him and loves him, and MISSES HIM DEARLY, to rebuild what was broken down?

HOW LONG?

I have become angry. Abuse in any form is unacceptable and punishable by law. And I NOW Sheila's been in jail before. She deserves to get thrown back in, after she experiences herself what she's done to my nephew.

I hope Dr Wanat finally realizes what she herself let happen. NONE of this would have happened if she hadnt listened to Big Spencer. If she had listened to Jeri instead, my nephew would be much happier. We know he has acted out because he's been separated from his mother.

But what did my nephew do that got him beaten up by his stepmother? He brushed crumbs off the table. And when he got yelled at, he said "Just kill me now."

He wouldnt have said that if he wasnt being treated so badly. I know.

Im SO sorry to hear that your nephew is going through this.

I know someone personally that has gone through this same sort of thing at the same age. It takes a LONG time to overcome and the memory of it NEVER fully goes away. It may take years of therapy. Im sorry to have to say that...but its probably what will happen.

Is this the first instance of this? Probably not...if he said that he wanted to die.

There is absolutely NO excuse for this whatsoever and I hope that Spencer gets his justice.

Heres rooting for Spencer!

I would be very careful about getting CPS involved. There have been changes to how they react to unsubstantiated claims. That is to say, don't call them until you can provide enough proof of abuse to warrant an investigation. False claims are prosecuted as criminal charges in some cases. Not that I have read of anyone actually getting the maximum 2 years in prison for making false claims, but it is on the table for worst case abusers of the system. You also can't report abuse anonymously anymore... the people you accuse wont kn ow who you are... but the CPS will.

Don;t take me wrong here... I'm not saying the fchild is not being abused, I don't know as I am not there, but what I am saying is don't go getting yourself in trouble before you can back up any claim of abuse.

Oh, you TOTALLY have to be sure. And it appears that Tara is sure.

But, let the school system find a bruise on your kid, and CPS is there, whether there is abuse or not. It happened to me back in MD. There was no abuse on my ex's part, but we (and my son) were interrogated incessantly. And there was no proof whatsoever. I guess kids can't run and play and get bruised without suspicion anymore.......

We would call the police if my nephew, his father and stepmother, and my sister (nephew's mother) lived in Michigan

WE CANT CALL THE POLICE BECAUSE THEY LIVE IN MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE.

However:

Jeri may have an appointment tomorrow or very SOON to discuss matters.

And hopefully the prayers and hopes are heeded and heard and not in vain.

Dr Wanat has a tape recording to listen to today. We're hoping for more updates over the course of the week. I'll keep posting here whenever I hear more news. =3

    • I am currently floored.   FedEx did a massive 6 box delivery to the wrong address.  I had an autoship order scheduled to arrive before this past weekend.  Nothing showed up.  I contacted the order site and they had a link for the order...a photo of all my boxes thrown in the snow and up the sidewalk of a residence that was not mine.   You would think that at some point, the driver would have looked at the delivery address after they kept throwing box upon box at this location with no shelter from the elements.  They didn't even knock on the door to inform the residents that massive 65+ pound boxes were left all over their walkway.  Nope.  Just dumped them, took a photo as they were walking away and left.   I wonder what the person who found all of those misdelivered boxes must have been thinking when they saw them.  Maybe they kept everything to use, distribute or sell.  No idea.  No claim was filed on that end as of yet.   Fortunately for me, one of the sites that I ordered from, replaced everything at no extra cost.   Unfortunately, now I'm concerned for the other items yet to be delivered.   Needless to say, I'll be watching my notifications like a hawk.
