A New Band To Check Out

So, I've been busy trying to be a contributing member of society, but I posted in the Want Ads section, and then I realized--hell--

I never read that forum, how many other people do?

and so in my effort to support

a DGN member-created band (Hollivomitsyou) I thought I'd copy and paste my message once again.

I'm still in the middle of downloading them and they definitely sound more pop than what my message below implies, but it's interesting stuff.

I'm also hearing more Meat Beat Manifesto/AphexTwin(who has always been an amalgam of ambient and industrial style beats anyway) on second listen.

Ok, so I'm just reading Bean's posts (which takes five secs) and I come across Holli and...

This is really F*&^ing good music!!!!

I think they mismarked their myspace as emotronic pop---

(which incidentally makes me want to vomit Holli)

because it's very industrial heavy.

I would put it in line with later Front 242 with Chemical Brothers and Radiohead mixed in.

It's not afraid to go from ambient (of which there's plenty) to aggressive.

Now, I'm still waiting for my login, so I've only heard 6 tracks so far, but I've liked them all so far.
