Actually, I did that once last year lol these people had the shit hooked to the ground though and when I went running through it the stuff did not move....it was freaky how much shit they had on their lawn it looked like a village of oompa loompas

I did steal a Santa though and my friend Paul is putting it up this year we might make it bloody lol

Dunno why people get this crazy stuff.....hey Pomba you still got those pink flamingos?

FOOD UPDATE:

I bought Bean some Chanukah cookie cutters, so, in addition to latkes, there may be cookies too.

One thing is for certain

The first two dozen people get a door prize!!!!

What is it???

(and the only one that has no relation to the Polish Jews

and their love all things fattening)

STORY TIME

100 years ago Chanukkah was a relatively unimportant holiday, and so back then the only thing kids would get in the motherland

(Eastern Europe/Russia where most jews hail from) was a little bit of gelt, which is yiddish for money.

It was like the Jewth Fairy, except you didn't get the money under your pillow.

Then, the Christmas juggernaut came along, and the Jewish kids wanted a little more than quarters for the gumball machine.

They needed lots of cool shit.

They needed eight gifts to keep up with their gentile friends.

They needed Wiis and PS3s, dammit!

So, money became "chanukah gelt," which is chocolate money you eat.

ANYWAY, I was going to put out a little dish and let you all take a few, but I bought a whole box of chanukkah bags instead. There's a bunch in each little netting bag. They look like THIS---

AND the first tow dozen of you get one bag each !

That way, you can enjoy all the fattening food at the party, and then you'll have something to snack on for the next day.

Just one more way eternalbean is thinking of you. :fun:

Blue and silver are still a holiday colour.

*blinks* Eternal, if 24 people are in my house, we might have issues.

Awww! No fun! :tongue: I'm just kidding, smaller parties can be totally better than massive ones sometimes.

I will say watch out though, you might get a flood. :laugh: We had a Halloween party like two years ago in this townhouse and 100 - 150 people showed up...to...a...TOWNHOUSE. We all fit, but let's just say we were all a little close from then on after that, especially due to the drinks.

This would be the start of a very LONG weekend for me. I've been gypped outta some good long weekends, due to my own crap I always have going on. Perhaps there may be a Hunhee siteing. I haven't been to a social function in a while involving DGN-ers. :) I'm probably overdue. I'll PM for address. :)

Today I am atleast making the cookie batter for my family's infamous cookies.

And I am going to make a batch of rum balls, and hope they are good. Because if they are, I'll make a lot more for the 21st.
