Last night I had something slightly creepy yet not entirely alarming happen. I look out into the parking lot after I shut off all the lights (mind you, I was at work and on my way out, the only person here actually) and I notice a black kitteh. I can't see any features of the kitteh, except that it black/shadowy, even though our parking lot is lighted. Immediately this stuck me as odd, something didn't seem quite right about the feline in question. I also thought it was weird that there would be a kitteh on the main road (Van Dyke) and was going to possibly see if I could get it, find a tag, and maybe get an address (I figured he was lost). If I couldn't, then I would have taken him somewhere, a the side of a main road is no place for a kitteh.

Low and behold, as I watched from the inside of the building, the kitteh started walking...

and disappeared into nothing halfway across the very LIT parking lot

Has anyone else had any unsettling ghost stories or just plain unexplainable phenomenon happen to them ever? Please share, I love these sorts of things.

I have quite a few myself, and the majority of them come from being around this one girl I dated for a year. The most unsettling of all sightings involved her sitting on the edge of the bed and me laying on it. I had just closed my eyes half a second before a brilliant bright white light flashed in the room. This practically blinded me despite my eyes being closed. I swear I could see the blood vessels in my eyelids it was so bright. I was like WTF? Did you just see that, and she couldn't even answer for a few minutes she was so shaken. Usually her connection with that stuff wasn't quite that physical.

in recent years, i have acquired two kitty entities... one is black and orange and the other is just greyish w/ a little orange. The first one kinda clung to me, when I stayed in a room at John de la Howe School in SC... it hasn't left my side. The other just showed up. The first one has been with me for 6 years now. i see it out of the corner of my eye, and i can feel it in the bed with me at night.

the first time i felt it, it climbed into bed with me, did the little turn in a circle and plop down thing, and it woke me up (seeing as no one was allowed to have animals) i wasn't use to it.

it use to creep me out, but now, its kinda funny... they toy with the living animals in my house, especially the dog. I just hope they don't attract anymore kitties.. i don't want become the crazy cat lady down the street, cuz only i can see my kitties... lol

I haven't given them names, cuz they had their own names when they were alive, and its not my place to give them new ones... i just refer to them as she and he or kitties... don't ask me why or how i know this, but it seems that one acts female, the other male...

I honestly used to see ghosts when I was a child. It is said that children and animals are more susceptible in seeing ghosts, etc.

For example, when a dog is barking at a ceiling corner in a vacant room the dog possibly senses something that most of us have no effect from.

I can share my own experiences here but I donno if anyone would believe me. I don't want ya'll to think I'm crazy.

To this day I "feel presences" however, I really cannot "see" anything.

When I take pictures with my digital camera and I'm with certain friends there are always orbs in em. [Orbs-- those spots that you think your camera is dirty. But if it was "dirty" every picture would have the same sized orb in every single shot in the exact same place on the photo...] When one of my good friends and I have them in our pictures, she and I believe it is her mom who passed just a year ago... or maybe my gradma--when the orbs are on me--she and I were very close. She passed over 10 years ago...

A story about the good friend's brother that brought chills to me:

Their mom passed away a year ago in early December of 2006. Her brother decided to visit their mom's grave site for her birthday in November of this year. As he was leaving the cemetary, a car T-boned his car's driver side at over 40mph. He has a lil Ford Probe. When paramedics arrived, they saw him laying on the pavement and the car was totally smashed and they weren't sure how he got out. He was taken to the hospital to be treated for a concussion. He did not have any major injuries... he only had the concussion---did not remember the accident--- and had a few bruises.

On his way home he told his family in a serious tone, "It was mom."

2 yrs ago, I had to have my cat put down, because one of her kidneys shit the bed and the vet said, at her age, she might not respond well to anesthesia, so he didnt operate. Every now and then, when Im at home, sometimes I turn my head fast while Im in a room and I sometimes see what I thought was my cat walking by. This thread struck a nerve with me since my cat was all black...

uhm, after my mom's (then) girlfriend's dog died, suddenly, i could hear it walking through the kitchen at night. I thought that it was the other animals walking around, but every time I brought it up, mom and her then g/f said that both animals were in the closed room, w/ them.... also, my mom's then g/f also said that the dog would rattle the blinds, and could feel it rub against her leg when she'd be on the toilet. *giggles* but yeah....

The week that my great-grandmother died, she visited me in a dream and told me that everything was going to be okay, that she was fine, and that she was happy... she also visited my cousin in a dream, that same night.

Every time I got to a cemetery at night, i always feel as if I'm being fallowed. look around, and no one's there. On occasion, I see very tall shadows dart behind things, when I look behind me. When I'd speak out loud, like a "who's there?" type thing, I'd get a blast of wind as a response, and the night would be otherwise still.

I had a friend that when someone would spend the night in their spare bedroom, something/one would sleep in the bed with them... it happened to me, once, too.. thought that it was my friend's little brother crawling into bed w/ me (he was prone to nightmares), woke up, looked over, nothing there, not even an animal....

In the room that I am staying in, things would fall over, and such, I'd say, "alright, i know you are there, now knock it off before you break something" then I'd feel something icy touch my arm or face.
