I'm so glad I changed my mind about sleeping through it! Another great time! I got to see some of you I've met before and had the pleasure of meeting many more. I look forward to talking to you all more in the future. And damn, Candy, that is one tight ass. Thanks for letting me grab it. Now where is my "Buns of Steel" video?

And of course, NYE is all about midnight......I didn't even know it had crept up on us, and yet I was doing exactly what I wanted to be doing at midnight, and it couldn't have been more perfect.

The only bad thing was, it all had to come to an end. And the crappy drive. I'm not sure how I didn't end up like all the other cars I saw in ditches and snow banks, but thankfully after hours of driving, I arrived safely home at about 9am. That's only 28 hours after I woke up! I must be getting old, I felt like crap after that.

Actually next year I was going to have a party at my house, for those of us that don't want to pay a massive price for CC just to go to the same place that costs $4 on a Saturday. All are welcome. Last party I threw was a Halloween party and we had 100-150+ people show up....so it was the party to end all parties EVER.

I didnt go to CC this year, and I'm actually glad I didnt. I spent NYE with my man and it couldnt have been any better, aside from my random puke-fest that went as quickly as it came.

Other than that, I had an absolutely wonderful time with him and we're a little over 5 months in, and still going strong. =3

Well, I felt bad for Critter, because I know she was lookin forward to the cleavage, and I think there was more there at CC on New Years alone than a whole season of Baywatch.

Ahh, thanks for that, Eternal. I have been avoiding this thread because I have been really bummed at missing all the fun this season.

However, even though I don't have a story about CC, my own New Year's was really nice.

Jon and I were out most of the day together. We had a nice dinner out at a friendly, local Italian joint. We shopped for fun stuff at Lover's Lane. We watched a DVD together and cuddled.

We kissed in the New Year like we haven't in a couple years due to weird & unfortunate circumstances. As the ball dropped on Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year, we kissed from 11:59:45 until 12:00:15.

Then we went out onto the porch to see the beautiful snow fall in front of the lit church, and kissed some more as fireworks went off in the distance, which looked incredible - never seen fireworks in a snowstorm before, and it's quite a sight.

It really was a nice way to bring in the New Year.

Kinda sad i missed out on the New Years CC festivities. But i didnt want to die on the way to or from with the fucking snow from hell.

I just went to jackson and hung out with my girls and my bf, drank alot of asti myself, had cupcakes, pizza, watched post stroke Dick Clark and couldnt help but imitate the way he talked.

Then got bitched at by the boy after he walked down the street to get me and my friend some pop and candy. Oh Well

He had to work the next day, but after we dropped him off my friend and i went sledding! Wooot

i got drunk. (i was drinking doubles at my usual pace, if glass is empty, refill!)

and this pretty blonde came up and asked how i was, now blondes i can say 90% of the time i wouldnt notice, but WOW, she was very very beautiful, in a natural way, but i couldn't for the life of me remember who or where, or what kind of asshole i was to match time/date /person, so i did my usual bluff of knowing who they are (perfected to an art for having a goldfish memory for names and faces, and having habit of forgetting what people look like after a few years).

later on i found out. she was the Daughter of one of my schoolteachers i got very friendly with but lost contact when i went to collage and then uni...

damn shame, the "little sister" complex then kicked in.

and then makes me wonder. when i went to collage she'd only just started comprehensive. am i getting that old? i can understand bumping into one of my former cadets as the age gap between myself and them was not really that big, i now know how my friend feels, when he bumps into one of his former cub scouts in a bar.

i bet he will laugh his ass of at me if he hears this as I'm always dissmisive of his "i'm getting to old for this place"
