JaneDead
for sale: my green '93 bonneville. it is not here with me now so i can't look but i believe it has something in the area of 150,000 miles? good exterior (very minor rust areas) and interior BUT... it leaks anti-freeze needs new front brakes 2 back tires need to be replaced it is super loud now - not sure if it is just the muffler... i am not a mechanic so i couldn't say. basically (to me) it is a piece of shit, yes, but i think someone out there might want/need it for parts or be willing to work on it. best offer. i will take just about ANYTHING for it. i just need to get rid of it NOW. Msterbeau
What kind of gas milage? What size engine? I am thinking about it being that I drive this gas guzzling SUV... Probably has the GM 3800 V6. Not great on gas, I'm thinking. Brakes, tires and exhaust are easy to cure, though not necessarily cheap. The coolant leak could be something easy like a loose or worn hose, something easy to diagnose but not fun to repair (Water pump) or something evil like a head gasket. My bet is the second one. Yeah the repairs arn't really a concern for me, I can take care of that. I'm just wanting something cheap and good on gas. not a huge deal, but if something like that falls in my lap I'd snach it up. odims_sphere
like a schwinn? If work was close enough I would! sadly I don't want to pedal 25 miles one way a day, despite all the health benefits!

JaneDead
What kind of gas milage? What size engine? I am thinking about it being that I drive this gas guzzling SUV... i'm thinking it is over probably not good on gas- though to be honest i only used it to drive my kids to school, go grocery shopping and rarely out for a night. so... i didn't put gas in it often but for someone using it every day to and from work- maybe marc is right and it is not good on gas. i forgot i left out, it burns oil also. the only way anyone would probably want this car is a. for parts, b. if they are willing/able to fix a bunch of things here and there on it. i know i am not making this thing sound appealing cuz believe me, it's not. which is why i am willing to sell it really really cheap. who knows, maybe some of what needs to be fixed won't be a big thang to someone who can actually do it. saechalyn
If you don't find a buyer and you really do just want to get rid of it, I recommend charity motors. http://charitymotors.org/ You're helping the charity of your choice, you get a tax writeoff, and they'll even come haul it away for you! I've done business with them and they are good people.
