Trying to teach thing 1 how to balance a check book is making me------>

I am sure some of you remember my post about how she heard (and so believed) that animals stink as they get older cause they are rotting inside.......?

Its so simple. She just doesn't get it. And has these banking terms I have never even heard.....its like she makes up her own thing to try to explain something that isn't right anyway.

Oh and as for the stinking......maybe thats whats wrong with ME. Yah. I got gangrene...comes with middle age ya know.

Damn...wtf school district did they go to? They taught us how to balance a check book in school, I learned when I was 16 because that's how long I've had a checking account for, but they taught us our senior year I think...

i went to 3 different high schools and none of them taught me anything like that.

i think all schools should make kids take some form of "life skills" type classes EVERY YEAR so when they graduate they might actually have a clue how real life works.

they should learn about banking, credit cards, expenses, cooking, how to take care of themselves because some parents don't teach kids any of that shit!

i'll teach you. if my check book is not balanced to the CENT i go nuts.

it was off by 2 cents once... i went to the bank and asked for a print out for the past 2 months to see what was wrong.

well, i have direct deposit set up for something and when i went to ask the teller once how much was put in i heard her say the amount incorrectly so i wrote the wrong amount which threw it off by 2 cents. 2 cents... i know... but it drove me insane til i fixed it.

I'll pour through my records and find out why the balance is off and agonize over it until it's solved.
