I have to agree, and this comes from a person who's been known to dress motley..of course, my motley armour is the the pick of the battlefield. If you're gonna be motley, at least wear GOOD stuff.

I think you could walk out w/ a paper bag & plastic bags on your feet and make it look good...

What do you all think of open toe/open heel shoes on a lady, with stockings? My opinion is, it depends on the sheerness and knit of the stockings, and the height of the heel.

Like you said, it depends on the shoe, but generally speaking:

For peep-toed shoes, sling backs or ankle straps sheer nude stockings (or sheer black or white if the color goes appropriately with the shoe) are fine, as long as the toe seam is hidden.

With some funky styles patterned stockings, such as fishnets or lace, can also look good. For open backed shoes, I say sheer stockings only.

If it's basically a dress sandal, then no stockings because if you're in a place where that's too cold or conservative to go without stockings then you chose a different shoe

Tights are a no-no with any of these styles.

My two cents. There are those that feel it's unacceptable to wear stockings with any of the above mentioned shoes, but we live in Michigan, so I give a little leeway because the weather can be unpredictable.

Once again,

I've said this before,

but I feel it bears repeating;

I feel that it is absolutely ridiculous to think it's acceptable on any level,

to wear pajamas to go out & away from home to do anything more then put the trash out or get the mail.

In my opinion, people who choose to wear pajamas in place of actual clothing, are conveying the message that they were too lazy to get dressed that day.

If you are too lazy to put actual clothing on to go out, then why go out at all ?

I see people, out at places, and they are all decked out in their pj's & bedroom slippers, wearing either just the pants OR the "full dress pj uniform"

and I just shake my head.

They see nothing wrong with it, and actually think they look good; I think they look unconscionably ridiculous.

I have seen people do this at the club

P.S. Painted toenails, or acrylics, are definitely a plus

NO to all but painted toenails. I think it's gross to lengthen your toenails, plus it's HIGHLY unsanitary. I refuse to do this on any client. EVER.

..when a person has belt loops & no belt...I don't care what class they are from.....it looks low.

 I'm doing this right now... :cry

I suck...

I hate huge bows on butts. Especially on big butts. Makes it look bigger.

Hate bows on butts...hate them!

bow.jpg

bows are for little girls and shouldn't be so big you could wrap a car with it.

this one looks like it came of a set of draperies

:cry:cry:cry

The butt bow is one of many lolita trademarks!

But then again...no one ever said lolita would pass any normal person's test of whether or not it is a fashion violation. The whole fashion is a fashion violation to most people. =P

Tight-fitting spandex tank tops on women with large bellies. I saw a girl at CC last time I was there, wearing a red spandex top with bootie shorts. Would have been fine, if she was cut-- but she looked like she may have been pregnant. It made her look like exactly like an apple. If she wasn't pregnant, she is in serious need of some crunches.

Sleeveless clothes on women who have "chicken wings," or otherwise totally out-of-shape arms. GOOD GAWD, no one wants to see your flabby, orange-peel arms! EEK! This looks especially TERRIBLE under the black lights at CC.

Wanna see something reallly scary? Sit in the little hallway right before the dance floor at CC, and watch all the cellulite on exposed skin get magnified under that blacklight. Heh..it actually prompted me to go beneath it, and check out my own arms, out of caution! :hrhr: I have a few rolls on the backs of my thighs, due to my age and heredity, and I would NEVER go barelegged under a blacklight because of it.

Sorry, but it's TRUE. :hrhr:

P.S. No one here is guilty of these cardinal sins, THANK GOODNESS!

This is why I hate sleeveless shirts and refuse to wear them, and why I don't get a tattoo there (I really want one and I think that'd be the best place for it except that I never show my arms because they are so fat)... Once I actually took my bolero off at City because I was hot...now I'm all embarrassed. I guess that won't be happening again... Damn, though, that outfit really did look better without the sleeves, other than my stupid arms...

Your bows are not THOSE bows ;)

Yeah that just makes me downright sick. I've bitched out a few strangers I haven't even known for letting their little kid walk around like a mini-tramp.

I could understand boys and girls getting into highschool and starting to care about appearance. Hell, even junior high a bit (with bits of makeup or something, not mini skirts), but all these elementary kids? Come ON! Kids should be kids, not freelance prostitutes.

This is one thing I rant about on an almost daily basis. And seriously, the parents arent doing anything about them.

It's one thing if it's a uniform (( ie, the child is in gymnastics and is wearing a leotard with leggings, or they're in ballet and she's wearing her tutu )), but to dress in a tight shirt and a short skirt, and the girl is younger than 16, I want to walk up to parents and say the following:

A: Check your kids emails. Chances are likely, if they're on the internet and dressing like that, there's at least 3 men that want to fuck them.

B: We might see her on Fox News some night.

C: Watch, in 3 years, she'll be pregnant by a 24-year-old dipshit that isnt intelligent enough to make sure she was legal.

D: Or the guy above was smart enough to ask, but is also asking for an ass-raping because he was too stupid to care she was 14.

Seriously. D:

Ohhhhhhhh.......myyyyyyyyyy........gaaaaaawd!!!! I thought that I couldn't find anything more irritating than the whole baggy-pants-to-your-knees and boxers thing, but yesterday I caught the horror of something worse. I saw some tall lanky Emo kid wearing very tight and very low rise hip hugger black jeans WITH his baggy boxers hanging half way out. Exsqueeze me? The poor kid had to pull the boxers up way high to even get the apparent desired effect  I certainly hope this is an isolated incident, and not a trend! :yucky:

I think it would be hillarious if someone were to have run up behind that kid and gave him the wedgie from hell !

Oh dear gods in heaven. Well, I don't know which was worse; the description you give of this emo kid, or a guy this last weekend with baggy pants and a blue sequined thong sticking out. I nearly wanted to either hurl, gouge my mind's eye out, or just pull his pants over his head and tie them in a knot.

I think it would be hillarious if someone were to have run up behind that kid and gave him the wedgie from hell !

I was thinking the exact same thing.
