Brenda Starrr
On that note, I need coffee! I have to do some more research for my business. I think I'm going to like this self-employed thingy.
paradox
what sort of business? self employment can be fun, but rough. i work in a family business. aint always easy and theres always something that needs doing. my wife has her own business too. or something like one, at any rate. running a business is hidieously expensive, especially the advertising part, and time consuming. i read a book recently, The E-Myth Revisted, IIRC, that focused on small businesses and how they can be sucessful. might want to read that, if you havent. it has alot of good ideas and suggestions. good luck! Brenda Starrr
I'm a freelance makeup artist. I've done the usual weddings, but I've also done 2 CD covers and am about to do some runway work. I love what I do, and I'm lucky to have a husband who is extremely supportive.
paradox
thats cool. do you do any advertising or is it strictly word-of-mouth? how do you plan to expand your work, or do you? is this a full-time thing or a part -time? is it strange that ive asked so many questions?? Brenda Starrr
My husband is designing my website right now. I'm also going to book myself to do the Women's Show when it comes to Baltimore again next year. I'm going to expand in every way I can. This is on an as needed basis. I plan to make myself indispensible. And no. It's not strange that you've asked so many questions!
