Safe? Depends on what you're talking about. We have a big problem over here with a potential case of voter ballot fraud in the city of Bridgeport. We still don't have an official word on who won the election for Governor; it was a close race.

Well than you answered my question, I was asking if it was safe from political corruption, Perhaps they are sending Mr. Kwayme Kilpatrick to govern your state.

No.

Bridgeport is embroiled in an uproar, because they didn't order enough ballots from the Secretary of State, to cover the expected turnout. So, they resorted to using xeroxed copies to make up for the shortage. There was a big flap about absentee ballots that were sent for early on, to an address that turned out to be an empty lot.

There was also talk of union people outside the polling places, handing out sample ballots that had all Democrat candidates filled in, that these sample ballots may have gotten mixed in with the actual ballots. Then a bag of ballots appeared out of nowhere. Then the Secretary of State declared a winner, without an official vote count. It's just a big debacle over here. Just like Florida, a few years back.
