I think that you catch the drift that I'm horribly upset. I just found out today that I have to find a new place to live by the end of the month. I really have to buckle down and find a place. However, that isn't what this post is about.

My major concern is my kitty cat, Misty. I don't know what I'm going to do with him. There are slim chances that wherever I go I wont be able to bring him with me and I dont want to take him the Humane Society. I want to know that he went to a good home.

I'm not saying that I for sure have to give him up yet. That would definitely be a last resort. He is my baby and it would kinda be like giving up a baby for adoption. I have had him since he was 3 months old and held him when he was only a couple days old and he fit in the palm of my hand. Now I believe he weighs ten pounds. It would be terribly hard for me to lose him, but I also want to make sure that he has a good home.

A bit about Misty. He is neutered, front de-clawed, male cat. He is a gray tabby with a brown belly. He will be two years old on May 30th. He does need his second year shots. He is a very lovey kitty, purrs a lot, sleeps with you, forces you to pet him, makes a big to-do when you get home, and actually gives kisses. Is good with other cats....needs a little to warm up...may seem mean at first but he is far from it. He hasn't lived with any children, so I dont know how child friendly he is. He is very playful and LOVES to be petted

I'm posting in this thread because I thought it appropriate because it's a story about my kitty but I'm also seeing if anyone would consider taking in a new member of the family. Remember, I am just seeing what my options are, I havent decided one way or another whether I have to part with my baby.

Pray that I can find a place to go that will let me have him and if not, pray that my kitty goes to a good home where someone will love him and give him just as much attention as I do.

I love my kitty.

    • I am currently floored.   FedEx did a massive 6 box delivery to the wrong address.  I had an autoship order scheduled to arrive before this past weekend.  Nothing showed up.  I contacted the order site and they had a link for the order...a photo of all my boxes thrown in the snow and up the sidewalk of a residence that was not mine.   You would think that at some point, the driver would have looked at the delivery address after they kept throwing box upon box at this location with no shelter from the elements.  They didn't even knock on the door to inform the residents that massive 65+ pound boxes were left all over their walkway.  Nope.  Just dumped them, took a photo as they were walking away and left.   I wonder what the person who found all of those misdelivered boxes must have been thinking when they saw them.  Maybe they kept everything to use, distribute or sell.  No idea.  No claim was filed on that end as of yet.   Fortunately for me, one of the sites that I ordered from, replaced everything at no extra cost.   Unfortunately, now I'm concerned for the other items yet to be delivered.   Needless to say, I'll be watching my notifications like a hawk.
