jadnifer
I know that it's possible to do this, I just don't know how to do it. How do you take mulitple quotes and put them into one post that you make so that you yourself dont have to make two or three posts, you can just answer more than one person in the same post? Also, how do you quote someone when you are posting in a completely different thread? Please help me out here.
Gaf The Horse With Tears
Multiple windows/tabs help. Copy and Paste. and the use of the quote button. I know that someone when you see? or just put [ quote ] without the spaces before the body of text and [ /quote ] without spaces after.
Rayne
Or if your wanting to quote more than one post open reply, copy, close. open next reply and paste into the other reply, leaving space to reply under both separately. That way the coding [ quote ] and [ /quote ] is already there. Works well with two, more than that and you have to open wordpad or the like and paste them there one by one, then take that and paste it in the last reply window. Destroit
How I do it: Let's say I wanted to quote well...for instance, you, Gaf and then Rayne. Just scroll down the page and hit all of their "quote" buttons from their individual posts. When you do this the button changes color obviously and then just go down to the bottom and hit "add reply" (NOT fast reply or it won't work) and they'll all show up consecutively. hunhee
That quote thing also does it for other topics. You hit the quote button, go to another topic, and hit reply. Try it out, it works.
