Went to manual settings on my digital camera, a Kodak ZD710. Changed ISO to 100, shutter speed tp 1600. There is a compensation setting, have to see what it compensates for, was set at -1.3. F stop was 2.8.

Couldn't get the red moon, too low light, was having trouble finding it in the viewer plus I was freezing taking the pics and had to quit. Have more shots up to the red moon but couldn't get it when it was red.

Yeah, I froze my butt off, but I had to give it a shot, lol.

I shot from my porch. Went out every five minutes... came back in to warm up... went back out..

That's what I did, minus the coming back in to warm up. I was probably out for about half an hour or so, but I got some ok shots to remember it by.

That was the most beautiful eclipse ever. I got to watch it with a very close friend of mine......it was quite romantical.

oh wow... i heard nothing of this in germany... hm, if i missed anything here it's too late now. But great shots everyone. Wish I coulda been there to see it, but the pictures do good enough.

Those are awesome shots! the eclipse was beautiful.
