My Dad Has Lung Cancer

I went through cancer with my mom twice already. The last time she went in to the hospital somehow they managed to actually get rid of it all, after long suggesting it was very unlikely. Theres always hope.

Degenerative diseases are so emotionally painful. Sometimes i wish loved ones people could just either stay, or go, without the painful in between period. Hopefully he has a long time left with up days lasting for a long time. I'd try not to worry to much now, worry wont make it better, just try to enjoy life and the time you do have with him.

I'm deeply empathetic, its a very emotional situation. :cry:grouphug

I am ever so sorry that you and your family have to endure this heartache and pain.

I cannot say exactly what you are going through becasue I am not you. I can only say that I empathize with you because I had a grandmother that I lost due to cancer. It's very hard.

I will keep you and your family very close in my heart and my prayers.

Keep your head high and don't let it get you too down. He wouldn't want his illness to affect your life, even though it will at least for a little while, that is inevitable. I know that you really don't know me, except for here on DGN, but if you ever need to talk, please don't be afraid to PM me. I will always lend an ear.

I cried reading your post because I know how badly it hurts.

    • I am currently floored.   FedEx did a massive 6 box delivery to the wrong address.  I had an autoship order scheduled to arrive before this past weekend.  Nothing showed up.  I contacted the order site and they had a link for the order...a photo of all my boxes thrown in the snow and up the sidewalk of a residence that was not mine.   You would think that at some point, the driver would have looked at the delivery address after they kept throwing box upon box at this location with no shelter from the elements.  They didn't even knock on the door to inform the residents that massive 65+ pound boxes were left all over their walkway.  Nope.  Just dumped them, took a photo as they were walking away and left.   I wonder what the person who found all of those misdelivered boxes must have been thinking when they saw them.  Maybe they kept everything to use, distribute or sell.  No idea.  No claim was filed on that end as of yet.   Fortunately for me, one of the sites that I ordered from, replaced everything at no extra cost.   Unfortunately, now I'm concerned for the other items yet to be delivered.   Needless to say, I'll be watching my notifications like a hawk.
