Homicidalheathen
I was vegan for 12 yrs and never mastered that crap. Far as I know, the only way to make the block white stuff taste good is deep fry and breading But they have different kinds now.......some is ok...hard to find. Try good foods, they have one that is like grilled chicken.
Onyx
I can't cook it well myself, but if you find a good Chinese restaurant and order bean curd with vegetables they can make it really tasty with the sauce they use.

Steven
put that shit in a stir fry with brown rice, carrots, broccoli, lots of onions, shroomus, and jalapenos - yes - jalapenos. Cook it with soy sauce, sesame oil, and that red chili suace shit you get from the ethnic section of the supermarket - the asian stuff (have it in the firdge and cant remember the name) poour a nice cold coke cause you will be on fire. but damn thats some good tofu. jadnifer
I cannot help you. I have never tried tofu and not sure if I ever want to. But then again, I usually go by the saying,"Don't knock 'til you try it."

sass_in_the_pants
I don't know jack about that tofu nonsense...it kinda scares me that it's used in fake meat AND fake ice cream. There's something which troubles me to the core about that. You can also eat polenta, which I think tastes WAY better than that styrofoam tofu and it works as a meat substitute. Pretty much what Steven said just without the jalapenos and I like to soak it in teriyak sauce and 7 up over night. That or Hoson sauce ( I dont think I spelled that right) but it's like an asian bbq sauce with a kick!!! It's oh so yummy in my tummy.

Stymie
Soy sause, freash ginger, teryak#$% suase mix them up and add the Tofu. sit for about 5+mins then add alittle oils to pan and cook it up! I cut a block in 1/2 and add tomatoe sause mix alittle Tyme, Basil, Orag..., Garlic, SnP and add over the top. Add Motz cheese!!!! on top of that. let sit for a few mins and bake at 350. (I do this instead of caned sause, cuz its cheaper and better tasting. If you do it right. Its smoother taste too.) I don't feel like looking up how to spell words right now x.x I'll do that later! TygerLili
I'm a vegetarian and I hate it. I can tolerate it fried in very spicy Chinese or Thai food, but that's it. Otherwise it looks like I'm eating tub caulking, and doesn't taste much better.
